Hey guys,
I wanted to share this video with you- one of my favorite pieces of music.
Vocalise was written by Sergei Rachmaninoff for voice and piano without any words, and without any words, communicates a story of sadness, yearning and despair. This is my interpretation of the song, with flickers of an imagined story, like a dream, without any specifics that you can put your finger on, just like the music itself.
I recorded this music for the Gold Violin Show in 2010. Video by Engage Pictures, arrangement by Sophie Loizou.
