This might be the most complex and lore-heavy way to describe an angry monochrome horse.
Dumb question but what does monochrome mean
@@lisalisa-x9x
Mono- means "single"
-chrome means color/colour
=> monochrome means "single-colored"
@@abeby297 You're freaking right
@@lisalisa-x9xblack, white and grey.
Technically closer to donkeys (I might be wrong).
Kudos on not just copy-pasting each zebra, but actually drawing each one with different stripes
I don't want to sound racist but they all look the same to me.
Are they not all copy pasted?
@@gshorses928look closely to their stripes they're all pretty different one way or another
Fun fact: All living Equines have the phenotype for stripes. Domestic/Feral Horses will sometimes have faint stripes around their legs, Domestic Donkeys have a single stripe running down their midline & can also have stripes on their legs & even Onagers have a single stripe runnning down their back.
my donkey has some leg stripes
We had a donkey that came out covered in stripes once
Also: All equines are originally from North America, not Africa. They spread through the land bridge in Alaska to Eurasia, eventually making it to Africa.
Gotta google Onager now. Thanks Carol.
@@JB-bm1to The pleasure is all mine.
The running gag kinda reminds me that Madagascar 2 did the same joke for Marty when he met other Zebras, everything he did at the Zoo, the wild Zebras already knew about.
The German Shepherd could not look less inconspicuous in that pack.
He’s undercover with the African Wild Dogs lol
Zebra's are pretty not mild at all and will go scorched earth with anything that will so breath. They're one of a zookeeper's worst fears, oddly enough
Second only to chimps.
0:34 I originally thought that the baby zebra was going to be very small compared to mom
But he’s actually at the accurate size of a zebra foal compared to their mother
'Or zeebra if your wrong' That gosuch a big laugh out of me 🤣
If im wrong i dont wanna be right.
Found ur channel from the shark video btw, love ur stuff
Bro, exactly! And exactly half an hour ago!

Hyenas next, please! They are Hella weird.

The zebra riding a horse is hilarious
The homies always coming in clutch at the end.
Petition for a cheetah. I'm tired of the disrespect they get
And nice touch on the hyenas and painted dogs, the actual most successful predators of the savannah
When they stop getting bodied by everything under the sun, they will get their due respect. Or just move to a place with less insane competition.
@@smugreptile6695cheetahs are actually really good predators, more successful than lions or leopards which is why lions see them as competitors and try to kill them. Even if they are weak, that doesnt make them any less of the fascinating animals they are.
@@smugreptile6695
A single adult female is capable of taking down a wildebest.
They aren't the pushovers that people for whatever reason seem to be convinced they are.
They don’t guard kills because there isn’t much of a point to risk sepsis it when your solo success rate of huting starts at 49.9% and goes to 58%. Which for the record, is only beaten by the Blackfooted cat at 60%, as far as lone predators go, and a lion pride sits at a comfortable 20-25%, which is still higher than then leopard that has about a 10% succes rate afaik.
The only real thing that’s shit about them is the about of cubs that make it to adulthood, but to be fair, even the superpredator felids don’t have too hot statistics if you ask me, and for lions this is factoring in interspecies help.
And this is even more insanely succesful when you consider that all the modern cheetahs are descendant from a very small number of cheetahs.
Oh and before I forget- about 10 cheetahs *have* been succesfuly introdouced in India, afaik far away from the Asiatic lions.
People are judging cheetahs through the rulesets of chess while they are actually playing poker
They aren't secret supersayan’s of course, but people are doing them dirty for no reason.
Also certainly a shame that their complicated breeding requirements made them unfit for domestication, if you ask me
Could be worse, you could've been born salmon. years 1-2 eat bugs and get eaten by anything in the river, even larger bugs, year 3 go to ocean, get eaten by anything from birds to otters, seals and even just bigger fish. Years 3-4 try to find smaller fish to eat while staying with a group of survivors, which keeps getting smaller every day and also there's no prey due to climate change and overfishing by humans.
Year 5 finally going to get laid! Go back to river you were born, except that river stops midway, some asshole has built a dam into it. Or jump over a fall and get eaten by a bear. 500miles for only to get eaten by a bear, and bear is only going to eat your intestines/eggs and doesn't give a crap for the rest. Also humans, water is like a pet-store or circus full of nets and colorful lures, hell some dude has even tied a hook and a line to a goddamn football and painted it pink. Do these guys think you're an idiot, oh nevermind, someone just got attacked by the football and up he goes.
Few more months and you're up the river and finally getting laid, except that some smaller fish that stayed in the river in the first place sneaked your female while you were fertilizing and most of the females eggs are no longer yours, oh well having spent your last months rotting alive until you breed, you die mere hours after breeding.
Don't care, had sex
@@LN37275well, that is the salmon mindset.
Please do an episode on Emperor Penguins
Implying through the video that you, as a zebra, feels identical to all other zebras in the herd, is a reference to Madagascar 2 with what Marty experienced, right ?

Brits and Americans used to both pronounce it the same (zeebra). For whatever reason, over the course of the 20th century, the brits started to more frequently pronounce it (zehbra).

Same. It's bitter sweet because who doesn't want to ride a zebra? But it's hilarious 😂
So Racing Stripes is a lie this whole time?

The whole video i been thinking about Marty's arc in Madagascar 2, where he struggled with the fact that every other Zebra in his heard are the same like him.
9:06 - Love the "VAR takes too long" joke infiltrating its way into a wildlife video.
There is subtle differences between each zebra's stripe patterns un the video
The giraffes looking down "You guys live like this?"
I find it really funny that as far as I can tell, all the Zebras *do* have unique stripe patterns. It’s just that the differences are minuscule, maybe just one or two differently placed or thicker stripes. Thanks for all the effort.
They do, is pretty much like our fingerprints.
Hoping for a otter episode .
They have many adorable and
horrifying behaviours which could make a entertaining episode!

your life as a human?
There's not a point of making a video if humans have their own way of life and no one lives the same way
As an infant, you spend most of your time sleeping, drinking, pooping, and just staring or crying. You're also learning language slowly but surely. You're entirely dependent on your parents, so you don't really get to choose what you experience in your day-to-day, but it's not necessarily hard to keep you occupied with your low standards at this age.
As a child, you still spend a lot of time sleeping and eating, but now you can speak. Much like your adult counterpart, you spend your time either at work or at play, with more work and less play the poorer you are, and vice versa for the rich. Play is rather complex, often involving socializing as you're a social species, but recently your species has developed a form of socialization done digitally. As for work, this can range from nothing at all, to just chores, to helping a family business, to going to school so you can do a different kind of work when you're older, to a low-paying job with long hours and poor working conditions that you're forced into due to financial circumstances, tho I wonder how likely such a kid is actually to spend their little off time reading this instead of with their family or friends.
As a teen, your life is like that of a child but with some more responsibilities, but often more freedom too. You're more capable and experienced, so you know how to get what you want using the resources you have, or taking what you want if you don't have the resources needed to get it, or just longingly thinking about it if you can't get it. What you want is often impacted partly by what others want since you're a social species, and even going against the trend is just part of another trend. You're also undergoing more physical changes, causing you to be moodier than before. You're more rebellious, exploratory, and adventurous, but at the end of the day, you're still split between work and play, though play may now include playing with your peers in other ways.
As an adult, you may still keep in contact with you family or even live with them, but you're now seen as fully responsible for your actions. You sleep, eat, work, and play like before, tho your play now includes legally doing certain things you couldn't legally do before.
As an elderly, you're not quite as spry as before, but you can still be rather capable depending on your lifestyle and any major injuries you've sustained. Soon, you forget to throw away that banana peel and drop it, forget that you just dropped it and step on something slippery and... well, you had a good run.
Insert some jokes, more details, some other stuff, and voila! Human life in a nutshell.
school, school debt, work, taxes, debt, retirement, death
Believe me it's horrible
Eh, he did a video on chimps. It's close enough to get the idea.

Bad, we pay taxes and slave away for life until we die.
So Dreamwork’s Madagascar was right all along.
If the Zebra guy painted the lower half of his body brown and made the back stripes more conspicuous he would have turned into the only Quagga in existence, which is like, the most unique you can ever be.
