along the lines of the government subsidizing freight at a loss - it seems to me to be true that government subsidizes labor cost of a lot of cheap employers - like wal-mart who gives food stamp applications to its employees - it seems to me we subsidize their labor cost
I would say that in the end Capitalists don't give a shit, and the GOP (who at one time didn't give that much of a damn about abortion) only makes it an issue because in the late 60s to late 70s correlating with the Southern Strategy they rallied the vast majority of evangelicals under their umbrella, so not alot of what the GOP is doing is pandering to the VERY rich evangelical crowd Always look to the surplus value taken from the surplus labor if you want to get more of a hint as to POSSIBLE capitalist motives.
Seriously good shit! Thanks Dr. Wolff. Wish I had you for HS teacher in the 70's!

Dear Dr. Wolff,
Who benefits from passing anti/pro abortion legislation from a Marxist perspective?
the capitalists, they need new wage slaves.
