“Jeremy” ain’t slick! I called his card from day one. He is definitely a worthy opponent though. The way he orchestrated that whole late night swim and kiss. Poor Belly didn’t have a chance. He was was crafty like a Disney Villain. 😭
Don’t be mad that Jere knows his brother is a mess and will drag belly down with his toxic issues. I feel Jere was looking out for my girl- and handled it by any means! What’s so funny is-Nothing Jere did was RELATIONSHIP stopping- They still could have kissed after the firework- and the NEXY DAY-Conrad played her with No help from Jere- He messed it up all by his self… What he did to her the day after the almost kiss is exactly what Jere is trying to save her from! And he loves her enough to do what needs to be done…
So instead of helping your brother to get better you go behind his back and try to ‘steal’ the girl he likes. Got it! Jere fans are just like him. I see why you condone his behaviour.
Team Conrad by a Mile. I just wasn’t a fan of how sneaky & manipulative Jeremiah was being. Their conversation after the volleyball match makes it clear that it’s a bit of a competition for Jer. He wants to beat Conrad meanwhile Conrad just doesn’t see things that way. Jer has always felt like he’s second best as a consequence of birth order and Conrad has had the weight and responsibility of taking care of others on his shoulders bc he’s oldest. And while he didn’t communicate it well I actually respected that Conrad pulled back after the almost kiss. Cleveland had told him that he had to get right with himself and deal with his issues before he could be with someone else. He absolutely should’ve explained himself better to belly but its very understandable that he doesn’t want to drag her down with his emotional state. He’s 17 & he’s carrying the weight of his father cheating, his mothers illness and his anxiety basically all by himself.
I could not have said this better myself. Jeremiah doesn’t truly love Belly, it’s a sport for him. He has to be better than Connie by any means necessary. Conrad definitely has been dealing with so much. And don’t get me started on the dad. Cheating on your spouse is wrong but doing it while they are going through Chemotherapy is DEPLORABLE. He would disgust me every time he came around too. I hope Belly chooses Conrad because his love is genuine. He’s compassionate, responsible and charming. Jeremiah’s judgment is clouded by his insecurities. He really could have hurt them with the fireworks stunt he pulled. I keep saying it, he is Disney Villain material. 😫
@@JoiLouiseReacts oh god! Adam is the WORST. I won’t spoil but as someone who read the books he’s consistently trash. Lol. Jer does have a touch of Disney villain in him. What he did with the fireworks and trying to get Nicole to take Conrad away to keep Connie and belly apart just wasn’t cute. That said, I do feel a little bad for him bc a lot of his insecurity stems from Adam and the fact their dad favored Conrad and made Jer feel less than. He’s so desperate for that approval that he gives his dads vile behavior a pass whereas Conrad won’t. It bugs him that even with Conrad’s clear disgust for their father he’s still the beloved son which causes a lot of misplaced resentment for Conrad that really should be directed at Adam. And while I do think Jer loves belly I’m certain his need to finally be more desired than Conrad is the bigger factor. They all have a lot of growing up to do, belly in particular. But if I was her I’d pick Conrad. Just that tiny moment where he cleaned up the kitchen after that moms made a mess getting high and told Jer that they need to be helping out more showed how thoughtful and responsible he is.
