Man, I loved this chapter. From Nozel's past to the Silva Siblings fight against Megicula and the family reunion with Acier. One of the best chapters of Black Clover, imo
Fun fact back then Mercury was used to trap evil spirits and keep them locked away for a very long time and even sometimes to stop/contain/destroy the spread of curses so it fits well with the end to the devil of curse magic(idk if this is 100% right so can someone fact check for me please ill appreciate it)

Man!!! My Soul bro 😢😭 This is such a tragic and beautiful story at once. I shed a tear just knowing what Nozel has been through knowing he had no choice but to leave her Mom to death while trying to save everybody else and himself from a never ending curse.

It is the Silva family crest that is why it is on the tombstone in the first place, but you can see the direct connection in the panels side by side he didn’t have it hanging on a braid until after the funeral

Am I glad Nozel finally recognizes how much he screwed up with how he helped raise Noelle? Yes.
Do I think this in any way redeems him of the years and years of emotional abuse and neglect he allowed and himself perpetrated on best girl? HELL NO!
This is a starting point. But he has a LOT of atoning to do before I ever consider him to be "redeemed". A simple "I should never have done that" does not make the fact that he was responsible for allowing, and in many ways directly causing harm somehow "okay". Noelle might forgive him easily enough, but if that's how the author leaves it without something more required for atonement, especially in Nozel's mind, I will be dissapointed.
@Toan Greenlow the issue is that this isn't a real person, it's a character. The mangaka has complete control over who forgives whom, when, and why. It is incredibly possible that Noelle and everyone else will forgive Nozel and thus he will be "redeemed" in the story. However, if it is that easy I will be incredibly dissapointed as that "redemption" will feel hollow and will essentially be making light of actual real abuse victims, suggesting that they should just forgive an abuser just because they said "sorry".
Redemption arcs are hard exactly because they so often times feel hollow or unearned, especially if the abusers victim just suddenly forgives like nothing happened. Narratively, having Noelle just forgive her brother would be lazy writing for the sake of getting to a happy ending, and I would hope the mangaka would hold themself to a higher standard.
I always felt he wasn’t really evil towards his own being. Noel reminded him so much of his mom he prob just felt so hurt that he couldn’t do it again and that’s real. I’m happy he pulled up. Goat status.

Also the reincarnation magic in general isn't "normal" either, so it's a little silly to assume that the reason their related is because the souls that possessed them were also related.

At this point, I think nozel had it harder than noelle.
It's one thing to feel bad for nozel. It's another thing to dismiss the entire family making noelles life a living hell since she was born, especially him because he thought he had it bad.

Well the biggest question is....
WHERE IS SILVA DAD?
There was still a better way to handle this issue in my opinion. And I've seen this situation before with Suguros father from Blue Exorcist. He couldn't tell anybody about what he really did bc it would nullify the contract between him and the fire deity his temple was contracted to.
I mean what he did was awful. Fifteen years worth of emotional and mental abuse is a lot to make up for. And with Megicula gone(for now) he's got all the time in the world.
I don't get why he was willing to let the other two siblings get stronger even though it wasn't their fight. He even let's them join his squad. Were their lives not valuable enough? Why should family only matter when it comes to Noelle, and not them?

It seems that Megicula was killed after Noelle had dealt the final blow. Megicula was likely severely injured. After Megicula had return to the Underworld, Lucifero will scold her for moving on her own. Then he will praise Megicula for what she has done. Lucifero had likely make several plans before the Advent. One series of Lucifero's plans are focus on weakening the present Magic Knights and their Heart Kingdom allies. Yet Lucifero had made a serious mistake. Mars and his 300 type force and allies will arrive in time to stop the Advent.
While the Diamond Kingdom may have a trouble relationship with the Land of the Rising Sun, the Fifth Kingdom will make a honorable vow to help its new ally and its other allies. It is likely that some members from the unknown nations join the Fifth Kingdom forces. One of the Unknown nations may be the Dwarf Kingdom. It is likely that the Fifth Kingdom will send an advance party to help its allies. The advance party will likely give us some clues for the Next Arc. Also, one of Black Clover mysteries may be solved.
Next Arc will focus on the Land of the Rising Sun. There is a fan theory which predicts Yami returning to his homeland. I predict that Yuno may want to go to the Fifth Kingdom to train to become a better warrior as well as prepare him for his destiny to become the Captain of the Golden Dawn, and King of the Spade Kingdom. Also, Yuno may develop an interest in a young female warrior from the Fifth Kingdom.
