@@syx2111 look at rally cars with different drivetrains taking hairpins and you'll see that awd will always be the slowest. because of what ?? understeer
@@_payso_ nah bro awd can't be slower or make the car understeer, it comes down to a few fundamentals
1, a cars weight distribution is the highest contributing factor to it's dynamics (understeer and oversteer) if you have more vertical weight in front (front bias weight distibution) that means the front tires can't corner with as much g force as the rear, cause there is more weight on it that means that car would understeer, to combat this you would put a stiffer stabilizer bar infront so theres less weight transfer increasing grip so the car would understeer less stiffer front springs would also help because less weight transfer
2, wheel width also contributes to understeer, if you have smaller width up front on a car with 50:50 weight distribution you would get understerr because the rear has more grip than the front.
it's very simple to understand a tire will always have the most grip the less vertical weight is on it, now always be careful not to confuse vertical weight with initial weight transfer, initial weight transfer will always give the illusion of more grip, example rear/mid engined cars will always have better acceleration than front engine because there is more initial weight to transfer to the rear tires off launch

S13 is actually a sleeper race car in class 5 and lower because it puts the power down well due to its weight distribution and has fast acceleration but garbage top speed so its not good for racing with lots of long straight sections but on tight twisty tracks, its a monster compared to other most other RWD cars. The low weight helps it brake late into turns and its wheelbase isn't long so it turns well.
i actually wanted s13 to do an awd racecar built but with LS swap for the extra power maybe even 1:1 lmaoo
@@syx2111 I AWD swapped a 30Z because it has a lot of grip, great handling, and was slightly front bias and the LSS swap in game was almost the same weight of the stock engine so it didn't negatively affect the weight balance while the 30Z has loads of grip and more top end than the S13. I've found that for some reason if you engine swap cars, the top end speed is still only proportional to the stock engine for some reason the car came with. So while you will gain more top end speed with the LSS over the stock engine of the S13 its still not going to be as fast in the top end as another car that you swap the engine in that had more top end to begin with. This is one thing about the game that frustrates me. Personally I don't care about top end all that much and the S13 will still have enough with an LSS swap and people sleep on the S13 but with the LSS swap the S13 will probably have about a 52/48 weight balance so it should still handle pretty well especially when AWD swapped so I say go for it.

@@syx2111 No I've done multiple tests with cars with the same parts, wheels, wheel diameters, tire pressures, weight, and mimicked gearing even and even with all things seemingly the same, with the same engine swap, two cars can have two different top speeds even with the same amounts of downforce from both cars. While some cars will end up with more horsepower than the stock engine could ever achieve in game, the top speed is still proportional to the stock engine in the sense that a car with a really low speed in it's class will still have a lowish top speed even with the better engine swap and such.
