Cool video, I like that people are still releasing content like this for hardcore. I agree with most things presented here, however there are a few things that seem weird to me.
    1. With worldbuffs, most of your abilities will be special attacks, which means that most of your damage will benefit from the impale talent. When i sim impale with world buffs i get around a 3% dps gain. Meanwhile improved execute would only be 1.5%. If you go imp demo shout, the points you use should always be from inbridled wrath since it is much worse than both of the other two talents by an order of magnitude.
    2. The guide is very alliance centered, which is understandable. But it is worthwhile to say that 100 HP is better than 8 stam for horde. And also, dagger is almost unplayable for horde due to being threat capped.
    3. 100 petris for edgemaster will depend a lot on the current prices. On my server you would only get around 25-30 petris for an edgies if you can craft them yourself. You will also lose your titans every time you pop a petri.
    4. The stat weights at 2:00:00 seems a bit off to me. Your AP does directly scale with crit, so 1AP with more crit and AS should correspond to more dps. It might be different if the stat weights were normalized to AP, but they are to dps in this case. When i use the sim tool i can not get that high stat weights without any world buffs. How many iterations and fight length did you use?
    5. The topic on lionheart seems off. Even if I use your stat weights, lionheart will have a 25% higher EP value than executioner. The only way i can imagine lionheart not being used is if you are crit capped without world buffs. But then you should probably change other stuff in your gear. You say lionheart have low armor since its a low level item, but it still have 30 more armor than executioners. I see what you mean with prioing stamina/armor to some extent, but once you have established your EP weights, you should not go to far out of your way to make sure that certain pieces looks worse.
    6. On the topic of spell resistance. First of there are both binary resistance and partial resistance, which is the one you are talking about. Partial resistance is pretty much all direct spells that do not have an extra debuff component. Like fire blast, shadow bolts, wrath etc. People mostly talk about soft caps in resistance when it comes to the 0% resists like you mentioned, but it does have a lot of value. Being a twins tank for example can be extremely spikey, and if you have too low resistance you can and will get hit by multiple 0% resist shadowbolts in a row. This can be quite deadly. The value of going above softcap would be similar to getting more dodge. Yes it will increase ur average effective hp, but it will also make damage more spikey than to just go for more stamina.
Also the average amount of damage you resist increases linearly (roughly, although there exist a known bug once you go above 50% resistance). However, effective HP scales like 1/(1-DR). So your effective HP will not scale linearly. For example, lets say you could get to the point where you resist all spells by 100%. Going from 99% to 100% would increase your EHP by an infinite amount, while going from 0% to 1% would only yield roughly 1% extra EHP. In a way this is the opposite to armor. Armor is linear in EHP but not in DR.
Anyway, I appreciate the effort put into this guide. I hope to see more stuff in the future

Impale is bis dps but 3% is just so trivial for anything but parsing. Daggers on horde is only bad because you need a slow main hand for windfury. Regarding stat weights, you simply must sim yourself as every race, faction and gear setup and world buff can completely change stat prio. I just screenshotted bis vs pre bis, world buffed vs. not on ally. In my year playing HC I see so many war corpses wearing that trivial dps gain lionheart helm. It's bis dps no one can contest this, but most warriors should value 20 stam over 2% crit. I was not aware of any bugs regarding spell res

@@webdeveloper42 3% might not seem big, but it is still more damage than improved execute, which according to this presentation is a really strong talent. When it comes to windfury, attack speed doesnt matter, since more attack speed will also result in more windfury procs, and windfury doesnt have any internal cd. Sure you will have a weaker windfury proc from your hamstrings and other abilities, but the dps loss from that is minimal. Simming daggers as horde is actually pretty strong in sims, but it does too much threat. Even some people without daggers are threat capped in my guild. I was just wondering what settings you had in the sim, since i can't seem to replicate the stat weights without world buffs.
I see your concern with lionheart, but lionheart is such a strong piece that it might be worth instead to equip more stamina/armor on other pieces. Like i mentioned, you can see this using the stat weights that you provided. Usually i put stamina a little bit higher than AP, but even then lionheart wins out in value. Stuff like gorewood bow, T1 gloves and skipping out on sgc are probably better ideas than going for executioners.
I have also seen many many warriors die. And almost always due to overaggro. So i see what you mean. DPS is really only needed for a few bosses in naxx like Heigan, 4HM and Patchwork. But according to the stat weights you provide at 2:04:00, 2% crit comes out to be around 31 EP, while 20 stamina only provide 20 EP. Also you get the 4str and 30 armor on top. If you value defensives this much you should put stamina at 1.5 EP or higher. I think the best option is probably to have a pure dps set for some particular bosses, and then for most other content you equip a more tanky set.

@@sny1337 weapon speed is super important for windfury because it procs off yellow swings like bloodthirst, whirlwind and hamstring. You want slowest main hand possible for damage. Also as you said before it has the added benefit of least threat.
I have main tanked for my guild on HC for about a year now and the only threat deaths I've had in this time are in the first 2 seconds of the fight where everything just gets parried/dodged.
Regarding lionheart, it's literally a crafted item that's game bis but you see so many warriors in HC putting 100 hp on it and it just screams "I'm a confused warrior". I just think you can skip it on most wars and go straight for conq helm/hoer and use executioner as a placeholder. If you get LHH put 8 str on it.
Imp execute is super nice because it makes it easier to play war correctly and still have enough rage to execute. Also you are thinking of impale as a 2 talent point skill but really it's an 8 point investment right? Deep wounds + improved rend.

@@webdeveloper42bloodthirst doesn't proc windfury :) Because it doesn't count as a weapon strike (fx can be cast while disarmed)
Salve is a huge difference in threat, we have warriors that are threatcapped on half our fights

@antiinline horde tanks need thunderfury very badly. I had the pleasure of speedrunning in 2021 faerlina horde with a main tank who had TF and THC from week 3 and I honestly never had threat issues. I wasn't aware bt didn't proc windfury. I understand the simm goes crazy for daggers on horde but I got rank 1 horde faerlina full naxx run for a few weeks there with a deathbringer MH back in covid classic. Slow just plays so well on horde side even if the simm hates it.
