Hi Tom and Paul, Rome is so beautiful, we have been all over the world and the two iconic buildings we life the most are tge colesium in Rome and tge Tajmahal in Agra in India, you must go back to Rome and see all the historical sight and go in them. Love to you both regards Carol. ❤

Thanks Jade! Yep we have so much more to explore! It was just quite hectic and the queue for the Vatican was far too long. Still, we managed to tick a few things off so not all bad…. And it was actually a very pleasant smell! 😂😂😂
I love exploring a new city. I definitely would have liked getting the train. The Vatican always makes me think of twilight haha The open top hopper bus tour looked fun. Rome was definitely conquered. Goodly and Godly haha xx

The trains are very reliable and we did a tour of italy for our honeymoon using the trainline app. prices are really cheap compared to the uk so traveling first class is great - if train is cancelled you can change without a fee as 1st class travellers take priority.
Braver than us doing Rome on your own, our last visit to Rome we were on a ship excursion and ended up over an hour late back due to traffic they pulled the gangplank up as we all stepped back on board if we had been on our own we would have been left behind.
Oh no Rae! That’s not good! Rome was lovely but very rushed. We did have good amounts of port time on this trip so we made it work luckily. We’d go back but would ideally need a long weekend. Thanks for coming with us!
I have to say I’ve travelled all over world but Rome was one of our least favourite places to visit although we found an excellent pizza place close to trevi fountain.
Hiya! Thanks for coming with us! We found it to be VERY busy and a little rushed…. Hence why we didn’t go inside many places and thought the bus tour would be useful! We’d like to go back but maybe stay for a few days to experience it at a slightly slower pace! 😂😂
