I have a 1964 no mint mark nickel with full steps it has a mirror like finish it was passed down from my mom along with other coins. How can I get a value on it?
Thanks for sharing this educational video, I've just went thru my coin jar rn and came across *1* 1961 (D mint mark) *1* 1963 (D mint mark) *1* 1964 (No mint mark) *2* 1967 (No mint mark) *1* 1969 (No mint mark Penny and *8* 1776-1976 Quarter dollar.. a zip lock bag of 1971, 1972, 1973, 1972 half Dollar..
I have a 1964 penny with no metmark. The front side of its red and the backside of its brown. Where can I go get a check to see if it's worth anything? Thank you.
thanks to such high mintages of coins in the mid 1960s and the fact that there aren't any unusual looking designs or silver after 1964, means that coins from then are still exceptionally common in circulation today after almost 60 years!
Saved 18 years of pocket change. Bought a coin microscope and a coin scale. Sorted the entire mountain of coins by denomination. Planned to sort pennies by decades. Very first penny I picked up? A 1964 D error with the L in Liberty completely on the left edge of the coin. In excellent condition. I haven't even fully examined it yet, just set it aside in the "special interest" pile for closer inspection. Next penny picked up? A 1984 no mint.... I think this is going to be much more fun than I originally thought it would be. 😁
these coin videos are misleading a lot of people, you are not going to find a mint state penny that is in circulation, most pennies that are in circulation are beat up and scratched up and are not worth anything but the face value. the only coins worth anything in your coin jar or in your change would be super rare coins that slipped through the cracks and would be valuable regardless of grading.
I have a 1964 penny it's in great condition looks like the l is on the rim and other errors on the penny I don't know who to take it to get a quote will u please help me
The important part is the condition. The difference between an uncirculated penny and one that has very little wear on it can be thousands of dollars depending on the penny. You don't have uncirculated pennies in your pocket change, so they aren't worth much at all
The ones worth a bucket load...came out of mint sets. If you find one of those...youll cash in. They are 95% copper and the edge is squared off instead of being rounded. Also it will just look "different"
I found a 1964 penny in my late grandmothers things where the side with the Lincoln memorial on it is completely reversed. It is a mirror image of what its supposed to be. I am trying to find out if its worth anything.
I know I was like that to for the whole year I though all the circulation is the same with uncirculated coins.. Before I will buy a box of coins at the bank and look for valuable coins . Wasted lots of time doing that . If you think collection coins has to be beautiful nice and higher grade .Those coins even if is rare and the condition of the coins is like that no value from circulation you are lucky if you find $100 value coin.I know you see everywhere the expensive penny from circulation .I will tell you guys right now you won’t find one it is all gone because those coins made a little bit that is the reason they are rare and expensive..If you guys want to find the coins with value .You need to go the coin dealer and find the rare coin they might have it .The coin valuable is for the people do collecting coins they buy every time there iss a new coins.meaning they buy that coin expensive and sale it auction .Don’t waste time for the business coins we use everyday there is no value at all. 0:00 Let me tell you guys I ‘ve learn a lot
Very true. But, I do enjoy the hunt. I would believe that the chaces of finding a worthwhile coin is less than the lottery, depending which one you gave more effort to. But the extreme rarity of any chance to find that coin is what I think is fun. More so than Panning for gold. I like looking for that unfortunate coin taken out of grandpa's collection to get a pop. So it can go in my collection.😁 I hope your days are great! ✌️
