2024 The Autism Diagnosis Education Project

This session will provide an overview of the community-based diagnostic partnerships developed starting in 2008, ADEP (Autism Education Diagnosis Project). Recent statewide data will be shared demonstrating project
impact since COVID pauses. The key principles used to guide implementation within Early Intervention programs and collaboration with medical partners will be reviewed. Building on the foundation of ADEP, additional resources were developed to address the expanded need for earlier identification information and resources among non-participating professionals and teams. A summary of resources currently available will be provided.
