Because the DLC was horribly balanced on launch and the devs are still scrambling to un-fk it. Steam reviews have shifted from "Mostly negative" to "Mixed" so I guess they're making some progress, but I regret buying it day one, such a frustrating disappointment after the joy that the base game was. I'm going to give it at least another couple of weeks, and then, if I remember it exists, I might try it again.
