That is awesome. That thing works great.. food storage, money in the bank..!! I wondered about the drive line and gear reduction box. Have a fantastic day..!!
Fantastic video Scot. To know when the nut has been air-dried enough you need to shake it and make sure that it's disconnected from the inside of the shell.
So intresting!!! I just went looking for you and Wow! Congrats on the 1000 subs! 🥳👏👏👏 Sorry it's been so long! Jumped on the Homeschooling wagon and it slowed me a lot. Many Blessings to you guys for 2020!
First. I love that shirt. Save some to plant in Idaho in a greenhouse. Do the husks and shells burn well? If so save them to burn for your Idaho compost pile. Partially burnt shells and husks are great for compost piles. Use a pair of channel lock pliers to crack them nuts. 🤣🤣🤣
And channel locks don't work very well...the nuts go flying! Super slippery shells... I'm sure they would burn decently.. I've never tried to yet. Defi6the husks would make good compost but the shells are super hard and don't decompose fast at all.
Theres more truth to that statement than you know... My original nut vid is over 45K views... and that's what started my YT journey.. so it figured it was time to remake it better!
Boy the time that would have saved cracking nuts as kids. We sat for hours cracking walnuts and pecans, almonds and Gilbert's as kids. My dad would have lived having one of those. Btw, I never could find this searching online. Google is playing favorites in spades, at least on this device. Is there other info on the machine that might help?
He is working on his website. I can get you in touch with him depending on what you need. He only has the tabletop versions in stock at the moment. They run about $1300... or the larger version in the $3500 range.
Hi Susan.. unfortunately Corey from Universal Nutcracker up in Oregon stopped making this model but he makes other crackers depending on your needs! You can Google the name and his website will.come up.
Haha...yeah I shoulda researched that before I repeated what I was told a long time ago... While macadamia nuts indeed are the hardest shell to crack in the nut world they're closer to about 300 PSI to crack... LOL. Thx for watching
Yeah, if it was really Commiefornia we wouldn't have out of control property values, they'd be regulated as they should be. Guess you don't know much about economics.
People like you are blessed as you're generous with your knowledge. God bless you for an amazing lesson on nut cracking.
Thanks for stopping over. Hope you have an awesome weekend
Perfect time for the holiday's Great video, definitely a top-notch channel.
Love the chipmunk nutcracker. That was funny. Lots of antiques there, but not as successful as others. Thanks for sharing.

I also can’t find the nutcracker online.
I would like to get in contact with him if he is still making the machines.
Unfortunately Cory stopped making that cracker a few years back. He is only making a table top large version now.
Cool video, too bad Corey doesn’t make small machines anymore. What is the temperature and how long do you keep your macadamia nuts in the oven ?
200 deg for about 90 min

Email me for info.
Did the manufacturer of your nutcracker go out of business? I cannot find them on the internet

@@HiddenValleyHomestead I would like to contact him. The smaller unit will probably be sufficient to start. I don't know it's capacity.
@@WesleySand if you email me I can get him in touch with you. Hiddenvalleyhomestead18@gmail.com
For how long and at what temperature did you roast the nuts?
99 min at 200 F
I'm planting hazelnuts and I already known in not hand cracking more than. Handful of nuts before I give up lol.
I read Archaeologists in Egypt have discovered a pyramid covered in chocolate and hazelnuts. It's believed to be the tomb of Pharaoh Rocher.
