I don't know why they say it. I just love the main casts. Zhai XiaoWen is as cute and beautiful as Xie Lian whereas Zhang Linghe is as majestic and charming as Hua Cheng. Besides they look so good together. Don’t worry! When every drama starts filming, It's normal for some people like to complain. As long as you are happy, everything is fine ☺️

@@huachengkissedxielian9440 yes it is because it was given to xie lian by an old man hundreds of years ago. It’s is meant to be looking old fashioned and worn out.. Very important bcoz it’s part of xie lians history...check out his hat in the donghua.

I know that was important for Xie Lian, but I just wanted to kniw if that hat has any cultural heritage or importance.. Because actually it's not always possible to create the exact costume or accessories mentioned in the novel. So Live Action will have slightly different style than Novel. I was also telling this to someone the other day.. So many people complain about the costume and stuffs, I just think it's too early too judge. And they might change the hat later, who knows..

But to be honest with you, I don't have any problem with the live action so far. I only care about an original story, standard direction and good acting. For me other things are just complimentary. I have liked all of their costumes, styles so far including the hat. And l am willing to wait what they will bring next as this is just the 1st month, we have only watched maybe 5% of their filming.. Now coming to the hat thing, practically Xie Lian is wearing this hat from the first day, I think by the time they wrap the filming, this hat will be perfectly worn out and dead. So in the series, I don’t think we will see a brand new straight out of store hat. Or maybe they might change this hat later and give Xie Lian an old baboo hat like you mentioned. Anything may happen. About beggar concept, they might not keep Xie Lian a beggar who can't eat at all. Their might not be any farmer to give him hat in the live action. I don't know the script or anything as I am not anyway connected to the live action. I can only say, let's appreciate the good things and let's complain about things that are worth it. And to me, the hat is not worth the complain.

Hmmmmm......nothing is touching me, I'm sure the actors will give it their best shot. I know the stories are different and there is a lot to live up to after CQL and WOH. Aren't there are real trailers or maybe the project is shelved? WYB and XZ in CQL and WOH have a real depth to the feelings and the humor was more than cute. We will see if this production lives up the writing MXTX has given us. I hope so.
