My mom used to make گُپ چُپ but it was sweet with grinded maash ki dal, deep fry small drops and put in syrup, it was amazing like any mithai.
It came into my mind after seeing this Thank you for reminding me.

Mare recipes mai khuch batain he toh yaad rakne hote hai, (1) kashmiri mirch milder hoti hai bilkul bhe taz nahi hoti or Dahi Khatta nahi hota👍 kashmiri mirch naa ho toh agar Serving k liye mare recipe mai agar 1 spoon kashmiri mirch hai tou substitute mai, 3/4 Deggi mirch( jo k Masala hai), ya 1/2 spoon Paprika dalna hai.❤

Barhiyan is totally different in taste and different dish. We eat both manhochiyon Ka salan and barhiyan at our house.

As you said we could dry it in 'sun light' in summer... Right you are. We call it as 'सांडगे' in Marathi. We can dry it and use it as and when needed.
What you showed here is known as 'गोळ्याची आमटी'... Made when no green vegetable is not available.

In my country, Mauritius, we call mangochiyan "gato pima" and we can eat fried mangochiyan in bread and butter along with a cup of hot hot tea as breakfast. We can eat it as curry with mangochiyan, fried baigan and aloo, Very yummy and tasty👍👍♥️♥️🤤🤤
