- Hello and welcome to the channel. In this video I am sharing how you can make a Jeep Willys MB #scalemodel using cardboard. #willysjeep
The process is lengthy and hence I have divided the video into two parts. The second part will be uploaded soon so stay tuned. I have made a small working model of the Willys L134 engine for this model. #cardboardcar

I started making models from cardboard during the pandemic making boats, military tanks etc and planned a jeep next. But you have raised the bar in the craft! Something to aspire to. I particularly like the model of the jeep engine. Got to try that. Great stuff.

I received your cardboard models portfolio. Amazing stuff. I especially like the pirate ship, lady Clare and Bedford truck. Detail level is really good (the truck engine looks realistic).
And about the engine in the willys that I made, I am unable to show the entire process as the video will become very long.
Since you are interested in paper models, I want to ask you if you have tried making papercraft models using printable templates?
@@DIYwithAK Delighted to receive your reply and comments. Have made a canal barge from printed template but prefer to make stuff from scratch. Slow progress with jeep; discovered put axles on underside of springs when tried fitting hull!. Some progress on engine. Crankshaft, conrods and piston rotation reasonably sorted. Parked for now.
Which material did you use to make differential part.
Differential is just modelled using paper. Nothing specific. It's just for the look.

From the internet. You can Search for blueprints or sketch of a particular car.

Hey. Sorry I do not have any blueprints or plans for the model. I will try to develop and include plans in future projects.

With that skills I think that it will not be a problem to make a compressed air powered piston engine using paper, like Aliaksei Zholner.

Unfortunately, I haven't created any templates. I will work on it and try to make templates for future projects.
Usually I don’t hit like button on TH-cam but man you made me hit it. I love the level of detailing you did . I was surprised to see that you even made cylinders and pistons .hatsoff to you . You are either mechanical engineer or mechanic . The level of detaining is insane

That will be really good. You can do it but it is very difficult.
You need a proper reduction gear set and shafts with universal joints which is very difficult to make. You can also buy them but they're expensive

As I made everything mostly freehand, I don't have any templates. Sorry about that.
But I will try to make templates for future projects

Please can you tell how you glue the pieces together. I use a hot glue gun which can be a bit messy. You don’t seem to have any problems.
I use instant glue to hold the pieces together temporarily. And once I'm satisfied, I use epoxy adhesive to fix it permanently.
