i've commented only once on your channel, but god your videos really do help in encouraging me to study at otago (as opposed to somewhere in australia where i live). i've made up my mind and next year i'm planning on completing a media polytech course. despite the differences between uni & polytech, i want to thank you for helping influence that decision. i've dropped out of a couple courses in the past because of similar reasons, feeling like i'm not putting as much effort into my work as my peers are and that i'll fall behind because i'm not as passionate about the topic as they are, but this time i'm really hopeful about studying. all of your videos are fucking gorgeous! all the shots you've filmed in this one specifically really come together to make something beautiful. i'm so happy you've hit 1k, you definitely deserve it! good luck on your course and i wish you the best!

I never really felt the imposter syndrome untill second year. I felt burn out for the first time and I thought second year will get better. However exams stressed me out so much and I was at my peak. I enjoy microbiology and I’m at my 3rd year although it’s a challenging course for me. Doing well in college and uni being harder 😂 I’m glad that you made this video because everyone literally feels the same even tho we think they have their life together. Highly support you when you’ll make it big.

Because I feel like I am having the similar feeling or situation that you mentioned, which is I am 22 years old now and most of my peers have already working. It makes me feel like I am way behind them and I would always question myself whether I am on the right track. I feel in the same way as what you said about the major learning. I am majoring in information science so far but also I'm not like the people who have a dying passion on coding. The following thoughts you shared on this situation did inspire me a lot :) (By the way, can I ask about the difficulties of INFO201 & 202? I will take those papers next year, thank you!)
Hey Larry, it’s a relief to know that you feel the same way! We’re all in the same boat together :)) INFO201 and INFO202 are very well structured papers and have really helpful teaching staff! You might find some projects confusing at times so it’s important to ask for help when you need it!

have you ever considered recording voice audiobooks? :o but loved the video, impostor syndrome is such an important thing to always have a kōrero about as it is so prevalent amongst our generation. i absolutely understand how you feel about your degree, and it can be hard to motivate yourself to keep going at times when it seems like others have so much more passion for the field but just gotta keep doing you. can't wait to see what else you have in store, you've come such a long way from our lockdown uno video :') ps my favourite ice cream flavour is cookie dough :D

We can’t solely learn and work until death, should with other colours on our life’s canvas.
