I think it’s pretty amazing how we can end up with such a large assortment of little tools that most other people would have no use for. Also it’s interesting how we can find useful tools in the most unlikely places. Like I find great stuff in the health and beauty sections of stores especially in the make up department. That’s my go to place to get sanding sticks (nail buffers), small scissors and tweezers.

@Richard Farabaugh - So I discovered a source of tweezers and various fancy "sticks" for rigging (I do not even know their original name but they simplify the installation of rigging even in bottles) in the equipment for dentists))))

@@OlhaBatchvarov I am a nurse and I got to talking to one of the dentists that come in regularly to do exams on the residents in the nursing home and I asked if he could bring me any of his old dental burs he had instead of throwing them away. Before long I had a nice supply. They work great for fine detail carving with my rotary tool.

I am not a great specialist in painted models. I love the period when the ships were wooden and only the carvings had some paint. But I do not prefer any brand in oils either. I buy what is available in the store and then experiment before applying it to the models...
I have a separate video about oils and stains in the same playlist (link in the description under the video). I can't put a link in a comment because TH-cam will block it...

Доброго времени суток! Ето мега сложный вопрос! Так как основной клей для дерева все же ПВА, но супер клей в некоторых случаях тоже очень полезен - быстро пр хватить детали пока ПВА сохнет... The thing that would be most appealing to me as a newbie and probably others as well just starting out is a selection of these tools that you have put together as a starting point in some sort of packet or pouch with your logo on.
