I am a Filipina here in the US .My skin is fair my nose is thin but who cares ? If my skin was dark brown and my nose was flat I expect to be treated fairly like everyone else. Kuya Benson you were right to tell that person to apologize. If you listen to comments from everyone to be quiet and peaceful that lady will most likely continue to be rude. Lets all continue to serve Almighty God just like his only son our Redeemer and Savior Christ Jesus. ❤

We as a Filipino, have to stand to anyone that looks down on us. I have never tolerated people that disrespect my ethnicity. In some cases, people of these kind are not well rounded and do not know other cultures other than theirs. I have worked with other cultures and do not know where Asia is located. Most of them worked for me and have not seen my kind until I was introduced as their manager. We have to be proud of our ethnicities; stand tall and be proud to be a Filipino.
Maski saang lugar sa mundo ang discrimination hindi talaga mawala yan...kaya be yourself at maging mabuti sa.lahat ng bagay...pray lang palagi ...

I have encountered shameful Filipinas on the train in Hungary while visiting and in our tagalog dialect they were talking about wanting to have an affair with their male bosses…knowing they would be destroying someone’s life, family and our rep as Filipinos ( I’m half Pinoy and proud). I wanted to confront them so badly but I decided not to because I’m not sure how that would end.
Anyway, thank you once again, for being a decent Filipino. May God continue to bless you

Kung iyong mga ibang lahi naman ang mag discriminate ang sinasabi ko maraming turista ang pumupunta sa Asia lalo na sa Pinas, ang iba nga doon na nakatira. Kaya proud pa rin ako na maganda ang mga lugar sa atin kasi dinadayo pa rin.
At masisipag ang mga Filipino, work agad ginagawa natin, tax payers ba, iyong iba kasi ayaw mag work kasi may binibigay ang government na pera, kunyari may sakit o anong nararamdaman.

Once nasa ibang bansa ka na nagwork at nakatira expected nayan na hindi na mawawala magkakaron ng racism at discrimination from the natives. Kahit sa sariling bansa at kapwa mo marami din ganyan. Yan din lagi ko sinsabi sana wag nila maranasan or ng family nila ang ganyanin sila.
I experience also this in Israel ang tingin nila caregiver lang ako kaya liit ang tingin nila but i stand also to confront them in a nice way kasi kapag hinayaan natin abusuhin ka rin ng ibang lahi.

Just ignore them, they are just ignorant people I've experienced Racist comments too, asking me if I know how to speak English I told them I speak 4 languages and am very fluent in English, how about you how many languages do you speak then I ignored them totally.

Even filipinos from other provinces will discriminate you here in the US or even in Manila. I came from Iloilo when I worked as a nurse in Manila I experienced discrimination from a nurse from Cavite and Ilocanos. Same thing here in the US. It's always Ilocanos who are mean & rude. My skin is not dark and I look decent. But they act like they are superior than me.

Even filipino do discriminate and some are racist as well believe me I do encounter a lot of them. Our own kababayan it’s sad to say. It’s heartbreaking to all victim. I did experience it multiple times but I ignored them not worth of my time.
Pinapakasalan ng matanda kasi yung matatanda ayaw sa home for the aged. Alam nilang kapag tayo nagpamilya, talagang aalagaan hanggang sa huli.
