So Perseus AKA Yuri would be working with John Price hell that could basically mean the final mission of the mw trilogy was Price and Perseus though question is if Yuri is Perseus how would he be apart of the ultranationalists

Khaled Al-Asad is also still alive in the Modern Warfare reboot (at least according to the Fandom COD Wiki), so another comeback is possible. I really fucking hope they tie in Black Ops 2 story with the reboot of MW. Of course, they'll have to reboot BO2 but I could live with that. With Kate handling David Mason's side of the story. Truly the best crossover of all time and maybe just maybe a return to form with having two side of the story played out like in the OG MWs. (TF141 and Marines in COD4, TF141 and Rangers in MW2, TF141 and Delta Force in MW3) We could now have TF141 with Price and CIA's Special Activities Division with David, linking the two stories. Makarov leading the Ultranationalist (hinted in "Clear House" in MW19) and Merendez/Valeria leading Cordis Die (following the same story line in BO2, but less futuristic). Valeria could fulfill Defalco's role (since... lets be honest, Deflaco has zero backstory or connection. Valeria would make more sense) Makarov is revealed to be the new Persus (Zakayev being the previous one) and revealing to have aided Merendez/Valeria to rise funds/logistic/equipement to wage a war against the US/Western Allies, sparking WW3. Fucking add Kate being trained and mentored by Hudson years prior she got her current job and is on the hunt for Merendez for having killed her old boss. Alder could make a cameo as well. Honestly, this whole headcanon is to have David Mason and John Price share screen time and kill their respective nemesis.
So while watching this video I noticed the most unrealistic part of the entire game.... During the No Russian scene on the plane, there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY that that guy could stand up that easily and get into the aisle with his tray table still down. Even in first class you have to shimmy your way out or lift it up a little. Immersion completely lost. 0/5 stars. 🤣🤣🤣 Always appreciate the backstories and theory videos. Do you think that they'll do 4 games in this series to spread out the story more? Because it definitely feels like MW2 ended right as the OG MW2 was starting off; ie, No Russian. I certainly have no issues with that.
Tell me why in the cutscene with Stitch, why he has a 1911 holstered if he hates the West and their ideals. And why he doesn't pull it out when Adler looks away.... If that's just an oversight, that's a massive one.
As for the first, Black Ops Cold War had no Soviet pistols besides a butchered PM-63 Machine Pistol, so the 1911 was instead used as basically a permanent stand-in. As for the second part, it's clear that he doesn't necessarily intend to kill Adler otherwise he could have pulled out the pistol at any point.
Zakhaev and Makarov I'm 100% sure of being horsemen. The other two I'm unsure of but I'd love for Menendez to be one and maybe reintroduce Rorke in the 2023 expansion and make him one too
I mean it’s safe to assume Zakhaev most likely adopted some of Perseus’s ideas despite being against them during the Cold War so he probably expanded that idea into his inner circle (consisting of his son, Makarov, and whoever Al-Asad is in this reboot) and then Victor and Makarov took it too far and are and are now devoted to the ideals of Perseus and is using the Ultranationalists as a front for Perseus or perhaps a new variation or splinter cell of it

I can get behind this. One question i do have however has to do with the end cutscene for mw2. Obviously "No Russian" is a call back to the original mission in mw2, but is this scene meant to be the new No Russian incident? Is there still an under cover American in the group of terrorists, maybe planted there by the CIA to gain Makarov's trust like in the original, and is there Yuri who refused to go through with it somewhere, possibly in some safehouse like Nikolai was in cod4. That or is this meant to be the "Mile High Club" incident

Am I the only one who thinks that Perseus from Cold War kinda looks like General Shepard from MW2?
Maybe that's also a reason why General Shepard from MW2022 looks now different so we aren't confused.
Nah the only reason reboot shepherd looks different is cause if the actor though they do look alike
In my opinion Makarov is one of the most interesting and one of my favorites
Inkslasher my man you make quality videos !! You don’t try to stuff out throat with unnecessary things so keep it up man I’m glad I found your videos !!!
I believe Alex is Perseus after being brainwashed like Rorke in Call of Duty Ghosts

Your theory @inkslasher maybe 100% true.
That guy in the airplane could be the butcher from COD mw 2019
He’s dead
@@Deathmare235 it really depends cause since it was the player's choice that he would just get shot right in the head by Kyle or be spared and get arrested by the Russians
@@sladevaleska6917 so he’s dead
"And they still think I'm Persius how very American"
From recent MW2 events and the unlocks we receive from the event tomorrow, I stand by this theory.
However, this would mean that BO2 future timeline is no longer canon to this specific universe. Unless Al-Asad turns out to be Raul Menéndez or his son( highly doubt it). Shits confusing now.
Perseus wanted to recruit Zakahev in is ranks but he realized that he was extremist In my opinion this organization was dissolved during the collapse of the Eastern bloc and the URSS in 1991 Later Zakahev created the Ultranationalist in order to returning in the old mother Russia time and some of this soliders was ex soliders of Perseus Makarov is none other than Zakahev's right hand man he's the new chef of the Ultranationislt after Viktor Zakahev was kill by Cpt Price in verdansk Makarov coming back in 2022 and we learn he was the responsible of the attack in the SC convoy by the konic group and once again he trying to start the WW3 in the mission No Russian by Aircraft hijacking but not massacre civilians in the airport
can you also tell a story about sandman? I'm really hoping that you could also tell a story about him, and I really hope that he would be back in the next modern warfare
how many times does the main character go down and reach for a pistol? 😂
I dont understand how the crossover between the games works because one game takes place present day and the other in the coldwar
Very interesting
thats general shepard
I don't think so, Stitch tells Adler cancer took him in 83, but Stitch would definitely be Makarov's right hand man
Do you guys think that the prison that they showed off in the first mission in modern warfare three could be vorkuta prison?
No, it literally says Kastovian Waters, Versansk is the Kastovia Capital
I really fucking hope they tie in Black Ops 2 story with the reboot of MW.
Of course, they'll have to reboot BO2 but I could live with that. With Kate handling David Mason's side of the story. Truly the best crossover of all time and maybe just maybe a return to form with having two side of the story played out like in the OG MWs. (TF141 and Marines in COD4, TF141 and Rangers in MW2, TF141 and Delta Force in MW3)
We could now have TF141 with Price and CIA's Special Activities Division with David, linking the two stories.
Valeria would make more sense)
Makarov is revealed to be the new Persus (Zakayev being the previous one) and revealing to have aided Merendez/Valeria to rise funds/logistic/equipement to wage a war against the US/Western Allies, sparking WW3.
Imagine in modern warfare 3 starts with no Russian but Yuri kills Makarov.
That would suck
So while watching this video I noticed the most unrealistic part of the entire game....
During the No Russian scene on the plane, there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY that that guy could stand up that easily and get into the aisle with his tray table still down. Even in first class you have to shimmy your way out or lift it up a little. Immersion completely lost. 0/5 stars. 🤣🤣🤣
Always appreciate the backstories and theory videos.
What about 4 horseman of Call of Duty ?
Makarov, Al Assad and Valeria don’t know the 4th
Zakhaev and Makarov I'm 100% sure of being horsemen. The other two I'm unsure of but I'd love for Menendez to be one and maybe reintroduce Rorke in the 2023 expansion and make him one too
@@Deathmare235 maybe shepherd or menendez or dragovich

Would Perseus even still be a thing since that was a Soviet Union thing? The Ultranationals seem to be their own thing
Perhaps it's the evolution of Perseus
I mean it’s safe to assume Zakhaev most likely adopted some of Perseus’s ideas despite being against them during the Cold War so he probably expanded that idea into his inner circle (consisting of his son, Makarov, and whoever Al-Asad is in this reboot) and then Victor and Makarov took it too far and are and are now devoted to the ideals of Perseus and is using the Ultranationalists as a front for Perseus or perhaps a new variation or splinter cell of it
@@MatthewFavorite1927 the ultranationalists are just mercenaries also Zachaev was an enemy of Perseus so completely seperate
Likely completely separate hell I’m pretty sure Adler would’ve done the job would’ve been pretty underwhelming if they’re still around
@@cartoonzentertainment doubt it Makarov is a prime example of what Perseus is against also Al Assad doesn’t care about Russia he just wants his own power
Is black ops 2 even canon to this universe?
Every game is connected
@@sauce91191 well not the original Mw trilogy, I’m asking this question because Black ops 2 takes place in 2025 and Mw2022 takes place in 2022. Black ops 2s Tech is wayyy too advance for it to be just 3 years later
@@simianyew73 I didn't think of that maybe only the new batch of games are cannon to each other

I'm not a huge fan of cod anymore but but but what if that general with the Grey hair is not Makarov....but general shepherd himself!! everything from both his actions his motives and even the voice and looks too
Idk about that I mean he’s a Russian with a Russian accident and I doubt he’s able to go from Russian general to American general with suspicion
Nah i think this is better...what if Frank Woods is actually Price, all he did was jus dyed his hair brown and wears a hat instead of a bandana
I was randomly thinking to myself the other day that it would make a ton of sense if Makarov in this universe is working with Perseus instead of just a bunch of nameless ultra nationalists.
That makes no sense at all would make more sense price working with Perseus

I can get behind this. One question i do have however has to do with the end cutscene for mw2. Obviously "No Russian" is a call back to the original mission in mw2, but is this scene meant to be the new No Russian incident? Is there still an under cover American in the group of terrorists, maybe planted there by the CIA to gain Makarov's trust like in the original, and is there Yuri who refused to go through with it somewhere, possibly in some safehouse like Nikolai was in cod4.
That or is this meant to be the "Mile High Club" incident
It’s meant to be the new no Russian
