How do you people come with so much hypocrisy in a single documentary? I am not a supporter of Modi or BJP, But your documentary is as close to the truth, as our earth is close to any star in our universe. At least, have the courage to accept the truth. No one in India will agree with this documentary truly.

Historical economical facts of India and China: A tale of arrogance and talking versus humility and actions.
    1) India joined WTO earlier than China. 1995 vs 2001. India had a head start advantage.
    2) India gained independence in 1947, 2 years earlier than China (civil war). India had a head start advantage.
    3) India's GDP was higher than China only because of the "British India" 's leadership.
    4) After the British left India in 1947, India could only compete against China fair and square based on their true capabilities. Please note that India's GDP is much higher than China when both received their independence. It is the Indian leadership versus the Chinese leadership from this point onwards.
    5) The GDP gap between China and India narrows down and China caught up with India during the 1980s.
    6) 1980s is a very crucial period because it is the only period in history whereby both countries started at the same starting point of the GDP race after independence.
    7) Fast forward today, China's GDP became 5+ times more than |ndia today. This is the difference between the Chinese GDP miracle versus the Indian GDP miracle.
    8) Despite all these facts, India's leaders claimed to be the "World Fastest Growing Economy" and a superpower.
    9) China's leaders claimed to be a developing country and has never claimed to be a superpower.

Pre-colonization India used to be 45% of world's economy. it was slowly brought down by series of waves of colonizations, by thw time of the british it was 25% of world's gdp and when they left it was 1%. The world is now appropriating India's ancient knowledge systems, giving it different names

Thirdly india was divided on the basis of religion and islamic fundamentalist took Pakistan out of indian territory and not they killed and convert hindu minority there which is now less than 1% which was about 15% at times of independence... So we pass citizenship act for them and those who wanted islamic Pakistan are not welcome.... No indian citizen is discriminated but we will not take those who made islamic Pakistan out of indian territory

The IMF now projects China's 2024 gross domestic product growth at *5%* , up from its prior forecast of 4.6% made in April. India is forecast by the IMF to grow by *6.8%* this year.
but remember that *China's* *5%* *is* *much* *bigger* *than* *India's* *6.8%* , because China's GDP is *18.53* *trillion* *dollars* and India's is only *3.93* *trillion* , *China's* *GDP* *is* *about* *5* *times* *larger* *than* *India's* .
and according to the IMF, China will account for about 21 percent of the world's new economic activity by 2029, compared to 20 percent from the entire G7, and almost double the nearly 12 percent for the U.S., so India is still far behind China, *now* *and* *in* *the* *future* .

Yeh i understand your frustration you can't see India's rise whatever you talk about China some times before China also standing there where india is standing now but now you talk about that China surpass US before 2030 so after some time india also gain same same path for developement , so you don't cry

      Yeah india grew by 8.2%
Sure india still contributes 19% of global growth compared to 27% of China
But with compounding effects over time the growth gap will reduce by a lot within this decade
Yes india will still need at least 15 years to reach same level of gdp as China or US but you get the point 😅😊
