  • Welcome back to our Janmashtami Special! Today, we’re diving into a creative adventure as we learn to draw Krishna’s iconic Matki using some delightful elements: Makhan, Morpankh, and Bansuri.
Let’s start with the Matki itself. Begin by sketching a simple oval shape for the base. This represents the pot that Lord Krishna is famously known for. Remember, it should be wider at the bottom and slightly narrower at the top.
Next, it’s time to add the Makhan! Draw small, wavy lines at the top of the pot to depict the creamy butter that Krishna loves. You can shade it lightly to give it a realistic, creamy texture.
Now, let’s incorporate the Morpankh, or peacock feather. Draw a beautiful feather curling around the Matki. Start with a long, elegant line, then add the intricate details inside. Do right shades to make it pop, representing the beauty of Krishna.
Finally, let’s add the Bansuri, or flute. Sketch a simple flute next to the Matki. It should be a straight line with small circles to represent the holes.
And there you have it! Your beautiful drawing of Krishna’s Matki adorned with Makhan, Morpankh, and Bansuri is complete.
