Wow, I was going crazy trying to figure out. I did the first step shook upside down and some debris came out. I said if that was all it was I’m leaving a comment! Thank you!
Ha! I started watching this and thought "Is this guy's troubleshooting tip really to look to make sure there's nothing in the printer? That's ridiculous." Sure enough, I had a pen stuck in mine! Thank you.
update, i found what the issue was and would have never found what was stuck by watching this video unfortunately. it was lodged where the paper would come to the middle section and it was a piece that wouldn’t come out even if you moved the rollers and shook it.
Seems it happens more often than not lol.. I found a pin to a small clevace that fell inside mine during a move I'm guessing.. never would have thought that was possible.. you made this an easy fix after a quick shake. much appreciated.
THANK YOU! I had a humbling moment- cleaned the rollers and thought I guess i am buying another printer. Started the video and thought "no way I could have missed anything in there after looking in there while cleaning" Turned it over, shook hard, and out came a comb with the pointy metal piece on the bottom. How the hell did it even get in there! The gnomes that steal my socks must be trying to sabotage my printer too?
my printer is still not reading the paper:/ i referred to your other video and when i took it apart i saw nothing out of the ordinary and i’ve tried everything:/ not really sure what to do at this point and i’ve only had the printer for maybe 5 months:/

@@303electronics I just cleaned the rollers, but the rollers are lopsided, like one leans out and if I touch the other side it flops back and forth. is this normal or is this the problem?
th-cam.com/video/pOG-4c1SlaQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=RZsuQpdHuHoi7FJG I found this video because my printer would start to pull in, but never all the way. This video shows how to run cardboard through and solved my problem.

Paper goes half way. Help
Check the rollers that are inside the printer where the paper is stopping. They may need cleaning or there is an object that is causing jam.
