That is kinda the deal sinners gotta face when they end up in hell. They have a trait that defined their deaths, based on their lifestyles, and something they hate themselves about. A few people have speculated that Alastor could have hosted his program on WWL 870 AM in New Orleans, since it began operation in the 1920's (operated by Loyola University). WWL broadcast at 50,000 watts, which is known in the industry as a "blowtorch" station, and given the right weather conditions (in which the signal bounces off the atmosphere via skywave propagation or "skipping"), it could be heard in 40 states, including New York. I always thought that he may have had a seizure from flashing lights while watching TV, and that might be why the two lines that appear when he’s mad look like blood coming from his mouth. Actually I think he died from an epilepsy seizure honestly- it doesn’t have to be the thing that killed you more like a thing that played a big role in his life
I've heard a theory about that Vox might've died through an epileptic seizure multiple times and i kind of support that theory way more than just that a TV fell on his head. The blood dripping out of his mouth sometimes might be that he bit his tongue while having the seizure. That could possibly connect both theorys if i'm not getting too far with this. Vox might've gotten an epileptic seizure at work and accidentally kicked off a TV from someplace that fell on his head.
I was thinking stage light crushed his head, and that it was replaced by a TV when he got to hell. Cause we can’t have him walking around with no head.
If Vox died in his 50's in 1950's and Alastor died in 1933 in his 30's or 40's that means they were alive at the same time. I wonder if they ever met when they were alive, even on accident when they were young or something, it would be a interesting plot twist, that's for sure.
My favorite theory is one I saw by a fan correlating Vox's more severe glitches/buffering with seizures and wondering if he could have been epileptic in life and died of Suped because of a TV light effect, which they wouldn't have known about at the time
Thats funny considering alastor died in this 30's making vox older agewise but alastor older timeline wise... Man Vox really gotta get his shit together. Cant be more immature than a man in his 30's...
Well, in earlier photos we can see him with one of those blocky tv heads. Heavy and prone to malfunctioning. This makes sence the more you think about it.
I thought that Vox died from a fatal heart attack or a seizure that ultimately asphyxiated him. His blue skin and the fact that when he gets too angry that he short circuits made me think of this. The blood that comes from his mouth could be a reference to when he had the fatal episode and bit his lip. What do you guys think?
If your ability and appearance in hell is affected after you die and with the way you die, wouldn't people try to die in the most coolest way possible to get awesome abilities in hell? Like if you try dying by being electricuted you'll get electricity powers or something like that...
Younger people will never know how heavy box TVs were, my mom said when me and one of my sisters were babies I was sitting in the floor and my sister was climbing the dresser our box TV was on, she pulled down the dresser but somehow the dresser and the tv avoid us both and the box TV went over my head and eventually broke on the ground behind me- can't say for certain if this is true or not but we still have that shattered box TV and it's so hard to pick it up lol

Is caused by how they die
Lyle had piano key teeth after being crushed by one for instance
Oh, so he got the scream 1 Stu Macher treatment.
I love how Vox calls radio “old crap” and just overall bashes Alastor for his stuff being old fashioned, and yet he’s literally older than him lol
I love his character
"How did he die"
Me: running into a tv
Vox has and will always be my most favorite character, his design and colors, his sheer power, everything screems "me" atleast what i really like so he was bound to be my favorite from the start
Actually I think he died from an epilepsy seizure honestly- it doesn’t have to be the thing that killed you more like a thing that played a big role in his life
I heard a theory once that he died of an epileptic seizure
Ok, why is it that so many hazbin characters were born around 1900 angel, husk, alastor, and now vox
His age is actually somewhere between 30-40
I've heard a theory about that Vox might've died through an epileptic seizure multiple times and i kind of support that theory way more than just that a TV fell on his head.
The blood dripping out of his mouth sometimes might be that he bit his tongue while having the seizure.
That could possibly connect both theorys if i'm not getting too far with this. Vox might've gotten an epileptic seizure at work and accidentally kicked off a TV from someplace that fell on his head.
If Vox died die to a TV falling on his head, wouldn’t i have been the gun got shot with instead of a radio demon?
Nah, can't believe some people are simping for a 50 year old Samsung tv.
can't believe i do that-
Kids after finding out in HH u become and get the powers of what killed you so now they coming up with WILD strats on getting op powers in hell.
He was actually just pyrocynical in real life
I was thinking stage light crushed his head, and that it was replaced by a TV when he got to hell. Cause we can’t have him walking around with no head.
It's been canon for a while that he was crushed by a jumbotron, or at least i thought
What is a Jumbotron?
The way vox lit vals cigarette is adorable
Vox’s head was an old big tv once , prob when he first entered hell so him dying in the 50’s would make sense and now he just upgrades 😂
If Vox died in his 50's in 1950's and Alastor died in 1933 in his 30's or 40's that means they were alive at the same time. I wonder if they ever met when they were alive, even on accident when they were young or something, it would be a interesting plot twist, that's for sure.
Vox: Died from tv
Stu Macher: First Time?
HOLD ON, VOX IS *50?!* 💀
He pulled a Stu Macher fr
I've actually been wondering lately about how exactly everyone died
Damn if thats the case the being who decides how they look in hell must be a HUGE fan of irony!
Honestly idk whats worse being killed by a tv and elextrocuted or being shot in the head and I think he got teard appart by a dog(Alastor)
I thought someone threw a tv at his head
My favorite theory is one I saw by a fan correlating Vox's more severe glitches/buffering with seizures and wondering if he could have been epileptic in life and died of Suped because of a TV light effect, which they wouldn't have known about at the time
Oh, he's older than I thought. I thought he was late 20s or early 30s when he died. He and Alastor are almost exactly the same age.
I get a feeling that someone dropped the TV on his face like what they did from the horror movie called, Scream.
stu macher style
That explains why he has a TV as a head just like Al died by being shot like a Deer
Stu Macher, is that you?
Younger people will never know how heavy box TVs were, my mom said when me and one of my sisters were babies I was sitting in the floor and my sister was climbing the dresser our box TV was on, she pulled down the dresser but somehow the dresser and the tv avoid us both and the box TV went over my head and eventually broke on the ground behind me- can't say for certain if this is true or not but we still have that shattered box TV and it's so hard to pick it up lol
Bro went out like Flat Stanley 💀
I was just rewatching Helluva Boss and noticed the unnamed Imp that recognizes Blitz in Season 1 Episode 8 has a shirt that says "Voxflix." I find it cool how there was this easter egg before Hazbin even came out...
Plot twist: vox is Stu macher
