Update: At 4:21 Surtr and Lappland has the same burst DPS on two targets with their S2, I brainfarted and thought burst was "average". Still, the point remains where Lappland S2 has technically way lower DPS due to how her SP is refilled and how much more SP it costs. At 5:02 I meant "1x3" tile range, not 1x2. Sorry about the mistakes! They are very minor mistakes in-case you needed to know.

I just started playing arkinghts like last september 2020. I pulled into Surtr’s rerun banner and accidently got her after the 9th Pull. Tho At first i ignored her since im raising Silver Ash (Cuz im a Husbando x Waifu Collector and simp

Fyi Tuye is very good for keeping Surtr Alive while S3 active
Pretty much if you have Magallan aftertaste of frost and snow (ice cream shop) skin and assign her as your assistant you get 70% increased luck on Surtr banner
Her S2 works well on the current EN event since the boss doesn't move and will just stay until it dies. Not to mention, her windup time is just outright short and fast.
Basically you can get free crits on the boss while using S2. S3 might seem a good option but considering you need to redeploy her again which is long, its also tedious since it has a large HP pool. You can just spam S2 and get free crits from it.
I skipped almost every banner just for her, not getting Surtr is not a choice. Pls come home
I am curious on how S3 skill name will be translated, as far as I think Twilight fit as translation, I think Ragnarok would be a great naming too

Reminds me of my struggles with the Thorns banner, I didn't give a damn about Thorns I just wanted Andreana, turns out I needed 50 pulls to get her and got spooked 4 times by off banner 6* in the process, when the luck simply isn't the right one...

I think S3 should be translated to "Ragnarok". This Norse myth is translated as "诸神之黄昏" in Chinese, which means "the twilight of all gods". Twilight is only short for Ragnarok.

She is the operator that dropped the overall difficulty of the game by a huge chunk.
Whenever you feel anything is hard to handle, you just deploy Surtr and boom they all dead.

Another thing worth noting: she is not a limited operator, meaning once her banner ends she will be added to stander banner pool. So even if you fail to get her in her banner, I feel sorry for you but you can still have a chance at her anytime, but please just pull her only in her standard banner in that case.
Still a good idea to pull on her banner since it's 50% rate up. Getting Surtr in the ever expanding Standard Banner will be hell.

Mudrock is very too far away from Surtr, so.... You can save more Originium and PO for Mudrock after Surtr, i wish you lucky!
I think the next event is gonna be Surtr's, then Blemishine, most likely a rerun, and then Chapter 8 where Mudrock's banner gonna come out! Still a long way actually (depends if EN will follow CN's order of these events)

The 10th pull was a 5 star off banner but now i have like 30 pulls from 10 x 1hhs and 2 x 10hhs and the pulls from orundumbs
Her artist is the main reason I'll pull for her. I love his artstyle and he never disappointed me so far (GFL and AL).

She if you already read her thing, she have different people memory added to her mind that make her strong
her base skill is "swordmanship memory" for training room (meaning she have a memory of master swordmans)
Also she have a same originium infection type like a two modificated/lab experiment operator (rosmontis and spectre), they are infected but the infection can't spread also all of them have a memory/mind problem,indicating that surtr also probably a lab experiment too

My only problem with Surtr is the fact that she is coming too close to the limited banner with the strongest Defender in the game (Mudgirl) and Rosmontis (limited).
Her banner can't come soon enough, she's so cool, definitely my new assistant.

@@fallrain7 It's always better to have the ops instead of getting them from support if you ever need them, since there are times where you need that support for something else on CC, but waifu > meta, so go for whoever you want
@@fallrain7 It pretty much depends on how many pulls you have rn, if you are low on pulls you probably won't have a safe amount for Ros, but if you have something like 60-70 pulls and you get lucky getting Blemishine on 40-50 pulls at least you can guarantee one or two 6*s for Ros banner, rng decides everything
@@fallrain7 go for mudrock for dps defender 10/10 since her banner is right after blemishine in cn(or probably yostar pull an ass move and released cob rerun first)
