Mr. #KEVMAC. This is by far the best video and interview that you have done. I came back to watch it several times. Mr. Quake says that he has a memory like an elephant, then he draws the picture of the parking lot where Mr, Raymond Washington was killed, He then even DETAILS where the pay phones where located and that his Brother was there with three other people and that there were four people in the car that killed Mr. Washington, the only thing he left out was which song was playing on the 8 track. Mr. Quake knew what you wanted to hear then went STONE SILENT in observance of the CODE....I respect that....that moment COMMANDS respect. The RULES....are the RULES.

The documentaries on Bloods and Crips said that Raymond hated guns which is a lie. Raymond wanted Junior Thomas dead because he think he killed Skip, and he gave the order to Bobby and Jimmy Lavender. They refused to obey the order. Raymond is a type of gangster who was notorious for calling on hits on his enemies.

Raymond asked Bobby and Jimmy to turn Crip. They were told by Raymond the Crips would kill the guy who killed Skip. ( Raymond apparently knew who killed Skip) If they would kill Junior Thomas. Bobby and Jimmy told Raymond No. I believe Junior Thomas was good friends with the Jimmy and Bobby. And I believe if the Bishop would have turned Crip.They would have been the first Crip set in Watts at the time. Jimmy the Bishop tells the story in his first video.

In Raymond autobiography its stated by Raymond himself in a letter that 62ECC were certified when it came to the history of the crips. There needs to be a interview with someone who can speak in more detail about Raymond an his death. Which was attributed to the hoovers.

In Raymond's brother's book "I am Raymond Washington" ...they say he was conscious after being shot and knew who shot him and said he'll take care of it.... but he never made it through the rest of the night and passed. In the book they speak on how Raymond didn't like how lots of people where talking like they started the crips and they were speaking on the beginnings and he was like how you gonna speak on it when you wasn't there... etc etc...its a good book for those who want to learn more about Raymond. Raymond, and Craig Craddock are the originators, the founders. Craig RIP in 71, or 72

I bought that book. It was one of the worst written book I've ever read. If the facts within the book were true that' will stand on its on. The way that book was written was a shame. A person of Raymonds stature deserved better.

That Black western migration started after World War II. Black soldiers were coming back to America with some money and wanted to relocate their families out of the segregated South. They either went to New York or Chicago if they went North. A lot of Black families in California have roots in Texas and Louisiana because that 10 freeway will take you straight to it.
