    Lampard can bury his head in the sand as deep as he likes, Villas-Boas openly admitted to doing exactly the same thing for Mourinho for a team Lampard was part of, so if Lampard wants to take the high morale route, then I hope he polishes his medals & returns them as he was a beneficiary to such skullduggery.

      Agreed, to paraphrase a certain ex Leeds manager, " Lampard should chuck his medals in the bin as he got them by cheating ".

    I would like to clarify that my first language is Spanish and I have watched (more than once) both of Bielsa's TV appearances (pre-match Sky and post-match press conference) and at no point did he imply he would do it again in England. Quite the contrary, he explained over and over how his duty is to understand and adapt to the country he is in!

    • @springbean19
      @springbean19 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Presumably he sent British people to do the spying. They knew very well it was cheating, that is why they tried to hide. There has to be a big points deduction for Leeds.

      @@springbean19 You are misssing the point. It's a cultural problem. Outside of UK, everyone does it, so if you don't do it you are at a disadvantage, and if you do it no one cares because everyone does it. Now he knows it's not normal to do it in the UK so he said he won't do it again. Stop being racist and intolerant and appreciate this genius who comes to teach stuff in your country and you can learn from.

    • @springbean19
      @springbean19 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@amacuro You are saying i am racist for calling out a cheat! How ridiculous. Just because cheating is normal in Argentina, that does not mean we have any obligation to accept it. Leeds knew it was cheating, and they should be punished with a 54 point deduction, because they did it before every game. A fine would be of no value.

    • @amacuro
      @amacuro 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@springbean19 It's not technically cheating because it's not specified in the rules. And your lack of acknowledgement of cultural differences makes you a racist in this particular case. Racism has many forms. English football should make spying officially against the rules and then pearl clutchers/hypocrites like you can call for points reduction.

    • @springbean19
      @springbean19 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@amacuro You are talking absolute garbage. Shooting the opposition is not specified in the rules either, is Bielsa going to test that omission next? It is clear to any intelligent human being that it is not in the spirit of the game to hide in bushes and spy on rivals, to try to gain a hidden advantage. I should warn you that you libel me by falsley accusing me of racism. Do not do it again.

    So... close the doors!!! haha. Here in Argentina not every team or coach does it. First, it's a big territory and expensive to send people every week to the rival's cities. Second, the coaches know it better because of the press or inner rival leaks, than from a scout in the rival training pitch. Third, most teams have 1 o 2 special days where trainings are "closed doors sessions" to practice tactics, free kick plays, etc, and nobody, not even the press or second auxiliaries are allowed. There are security guards too. So, my advice... CLOSE THE DOORS!!!

    The EFL should be very proud that such an esteemed coach as Bielsa is managing. In the Championship . Honestly I really hope Leeds make it to the Premier league next season because it will be good for the Premier league . In my mind every club looks to pick out opponents weaknesses and if they can observe their methods and tactics at training whose fault is that ? Derby should have been training behind closed doors as many clubs do already ,they only have themselves to blame . As well as this clubs send scouts out to watch games of their opponents is that not spying as well but everyone knows it happens . As for Leeds they are a far better team and club with Bielsa ,he really has fired them up although there has been the occasional hiccup.

    Lampard says he's got Bielsa book, maybe he should read it first. rather than just say he's got it. If he's anything like his Uncle 'Arry someone would have to read it to him.

    i have been a leeds utd fan for 50 years and with us finally doing well this season and with whats gone off i can see the fa or whoever taking great pride on punishing the club, i would suspect if we finish in the top two then i think they would love to take points off us thus meaning we dont get promoted, as its well known the so called fa and other clubs hate leeds utd. they would love nothing more than messing it up .I just hope nothing actually happens but im not going to hold my breath

      Spot on m8. Iv z the league would luv us to slip in to the play off positions so then it would make it easier for them to punish us, even though we've done nothing wrong.

    How about the FA/EFL focus on fixing the dire standards of refs who Leeds Utd have to put up with week in week out!!!
    ...and if a rule hasn’t been broken then shut up and focus on your own team winning games, instead of hating on a system which clearly seems to work. MOT

    Despite the bad decisions that have gone against Leeds so far this season not once has Bielsa criticised the officials. Lampard has already been sent off for his actions towards the officials and that can be said of many managers in their careers, some of who have hypocritical in their comments about Bielsa. He has admitted he made a mistake and let's not forget this is his first offence. It would be interesting to see the full list of clubs who are up in arms and crying for points deductions because I would guess that most of them are the ones in or on the fringes of the play offs. How many times has the Derby chairman come to Leeds asking for their help when it comes to TV deals and Leeds have always been willing to help then the first chance he gets he stabs them in the back. If I were a board members at Leeds I would be telling the receptionists at the club not to put his calls through and blocking him on my mobile. Some of these clubs need to be very careful in what they wish for because down the line it just might come back to haunt them. As QPR found to their cost when you break the FFP rules the penalties are still waiting for you when your star in the Premiership falls.
