So I've been sitting hear, a little lonely and blue thinking about all the good times we had when I came upon this station. I am glad my note helped in some way, my husband said to me before he passed that he wished for the rest of my life peace and happiness, for that is what I gave him all these years. When I see him again I want to be able to say your love helped me to be strong and I have found peace. Happiness is still a hit or miss, but then that's how it should be. Aren't we lucky to have a love that makes a difference everyday of our lives. May your heart in time smile again when you remember. Your videos are perfect for soothing me when I can’t sleep and for blanketing out noise when I’m busy writing and researching. It’s hard to find anything so good at either of those things, let alone both! I’m more grateful than I can say. Thank you 🙏🏻💙
Weirdly, I'm in the exact same situation of recovering from this disorder while being a grad student. I think it's a thing where perfectionism can help you succeed academically and enter grad school, but too much of it can be so harmful. Too much perfectionism can mean eating issues+fear of failure+avoidance of responsibility and important assignments, etc. It backfires big time. It's been like a year since you commented, but essentially what I'm saying is you're not alone and I hope that you're doing ok/doing better (not that you always feel perfect! 😉)
