- The failed assassination attempt of former US president Donald Trump was “shocking yet somehow not surprising”, says Sky News US analyst Michael Ware.
“Given the almost boiling temperature on the divisions in this country,” he told Sky News Australia.
According to Mr Ware, Donald Trump has “vowed to continue with his role at the Republican Party Convention next week”.
That roof not being covered is EXTREMELY suspicious. The secret service need to be thoroughly investigated.

A basic AR15/M4 Rifle has a 660-yard reach with standard factory iron sights for area targets. The shots from the suspected sniper were 148 yards according to the news (assuming he/she used the same type of weapon system) . I have been in a city where President Bush visited. Secret Service came days in advance to scout the surrounding area to decide where to place agents/officers for tactical advantage. The Lee Harvey Oswald to JFK Shots (3 shots) were made at 75 yards on November 22, 1963, with a scoped bolt action rifle in an elevated position. You would think that the SS would have learned by now. I don't get it. WTF?
