This is just a fun card. I love the background. So cute! I love all things Halloween. It;s my birthday and as a kid, we did trick-or-treat on October 30 and then had my birthday party on the 31st.

Adorable haunted house! I started using Press and Seal when I'm cutting background dies with lots of pieces. It helps not only to figure out where to put the pieces when I'm paper piecing them back into the card but holds onto the extras so I can store them for use on another card.
As for your bird sounds, I purposely live with that in the background. I stream a TH-cam channel called Handsome Nature on the bedroom TV upstairs to keep the cats entertained while I work. 😂🐦🐿

Try press and seal place on the paper while in the die after cuttin it will keep all the places in place and you can easily remove the piece you want keeping the other piece in place

Love this type of paper pricing. I have many quilt dies, what I do is after I cut the first one I turn it over onto a electric die cutting mat. This way you can cut 4 or five and they stay on the mat til you take each pc off, works great.

Spooky cute Halloween card. You’re always fun to watch. Great background, love that die. It’s easier to piece if you use a “kiss cut” pad. 🤗
Okay, Judy… what is a Kiss Cut pad???
It’s a pad you use in a sandwich instead of a top cutting pad. It barely cuts an inside piece of paper with your die so you can use it as a guide for piecing. I found it on a crafting site called The Stamps of Life. They promote it for their fold-it cards that can have a lot of piecing. There’s a video to show how it works. It’s pretty clever.

1. That is a great lip color for you; 2. I think I would have die cut the house out of the yellow and then trim it down. To me it would have been faster, but that is just me, lol. Love this card!!!

I love making Halloween cards and really enjoyed watching you make your fun card until you cut on your T.H. glass mat. I cringed watching you use your Xacto knife to cut your card. I used an Xacto knife on my glass mat and it ruined the surface; leaving permanent scratches in the glass.
Love your card. I was saying NO NO NO when you got out the T-ruler. It's Halloween, let go of your perfection and have fun!
