LMS Ivatt 2MT struggling out of Haverthwaite Station?

LMS Ivatt 2MT Tender Locomotive 46441 struggling to depart out of Haverthwaite station on the Lakeside & Haverthwaite, with the cylinder cocks being used liberally and wheelslip.
Can anyone explain what’s happening here? Poor rail head conditions, inexperienced driving or a faulty loco?
Despite this the loco did make it to Lakeside and back, and it must be said that she looks stunning too after being recently overhauled.
