To my shock and asthma nishnent, I found that Dr John who is a gifted gospel evangelist, now supports Rapture theory which is totally against Catholic teaching. I challenge anyone here priests , Bishops etc to check with Dr John and get his opinion on this. I used to attend his weekly rosary zoom meeting and now stopped attending after hearing his teaching. Everything else with him is good ex epr Catholic faith. Maythe good Lord change him. I hope I am wrong.
Hai George... I also attend Dr. John's weekly Zoom meeting. He is a 100 % catholic preacher for the last 25 years. I am quoting from the catholic Bible 1 Thessalonians 4:17 " Then we who are alive, who are left, shall be caught up together with Him in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air". What does this verse mean?... Is the catholic teaching contrary to the Catholic Bible?
Dr. John I pray that you to be led by the Holy Spirit alone. No one can deviate from the word of God & preach the gospel. If you are preaching about rapture it is the Holy Spirit. May God bless you.
@@babud5580 That word in Bible means all living and dead will be with Jesus in the air. Nobody left behind the earth. But Dr John teaches few people (church) will be taken early when Jesus comes in mid-air and there will be still people living in the earth and anti Christ will be ruling them and torturing etc. This is 100 percent heresy . Please check with any Bishop. If Dr John doesn't teach the way I said, then I am wrong . Apologies to him. But as far as I know and I heard in person Dr was talking about partial rapture
Please don't think I am personally against Dr John and I am nobody to blame him or claim as holier than him. He is a dedicated lay preacher and gave his whole life to Jesus. I fully acknowledge all he has done to Jesus and church.

This verse tells very clearly that only the repentant believers in Jesus will be taken and live with Him. According to this verse, When Jesus comes, NOT every murderer, adulteror and unrepentant sinners will be taken to mid air and live with Jesus for ever.. No... Only who believes in Jesus and with a repentant heart will be taken... There will be a remnant here who will not be taken who lives in sin and in an unrepentant attitude..You said everyone will be taken means the adulterors, homo sexuals and murderers will be taken and be with Jesus and no one will left behind( WHAT YOU SAID IS HERESY and YOU support unrepentant sinful living..NONSENSE) .. This taken up of believers is a truth in 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17..Catholic RSV Bible... So Dr John is right....
