You are out of your mind? Had she tried to do THAT, she would have had nothing left at the end, and would have been passed by the Russian. She KNEW she couldn't catch the American, so she concentrated on preserving silver. You see how fast she was running at the end? Had she tried to do what you wanted her to do, she wouldn't have been able to do that.

Agreed, camera man was eyeballing. My fav camera shot is when they introduce the athletes. So many in a race for their career and you get many genuine smiles and a gracious wave.

This is the 1st 4 x 400m I saw where Alysson Felix did not run up to her standards. Usually, she's the one that opens the gab.
She'd already run 400 and 200 heats and finals, plus 4x100 final. She was exhausted.
