  • Wei visits De Bethune Co-founder and Master Watchmaker Denis Flageollet's private atelier, a place where he finds solitude to seek inspiration and conduct research for the brand's next concept watch. Denis is probably the only independent watchmaker to have his own metal forge where he can experiment on different materials and craft his own watch case directly from the base ore. The atelier is also home to a collection of film cameras and typewriters that documents the history of craftsmanship and artisanal skill of the people of L'Auberson, Sainte-Croix.

My favourite video yet! Wei, we would love to hear more about your life story and other passions. The way you share your knowledge and appreciation is very much infectious. Definitely checking out parts 1 & 2 which I can’t believe I skipped!

An incredible reportage! Thanks to Revolution and De Bethune for letting us discover their world!
I just watched the 3 parts in a row. This brand was already incredible for me and it is even more so now.
Special mention to Denis Flageollet, I could listen to him talk about mechanisms, shapes, technics and materials for hours! This man is passionate.
    Thank you very much!

The bronze pieces in the video are Tsuba, Japanese sword hilts. Would be a very interesting to see a titanium watch with that type of gold motif.

Subtitles would have made much more sense and timely for a production such as this.
