You know what Pokemon should invest in? A difficulty system. Not in the sense that yeah the level progression gets more difficult and the enemies get harder. Like a nightmare mode. Where all the Pokemon are in high level and you have to rely on your wits to beat 'em.

I love the idea of using a Pokèmon that isn't the type of the gym, but evolved from it. For example, using Decidueye in a flying gym, using Drapion in a Bug gym, or Dragalge in a water gym.

Dude If you make sun and moon all gym leaders elite 4 and champion I request that you should have an eevee and choose any of its evolve form because I notice you don't have eevee when you play Pokémon

+Maurice Tissing Canalave gym? i was using too much torterra and staraptor... his close combat is quite useful... but a fire or fighter pokemon can take care of magneton... u can use ponita, meditite... Infernape too if u started with him...
38 would be ok for infernape... ponita evolves at 40 so that might help as well... meditite evolves at 37 if i remember well so that could help too... staraptor can be useful at 38 or so too...

It's actually pretty difficult to introduce difficulty in pokemon. It's either too easy or too hard... The in-between is tough.
