With the amount of land Harv owns, I wouldn't doubt he owns 20-30 ft. up the shore line on the East side.
I'd probably have requested the county, state or federal paperwork to prove the claim. And if they can't then ain't nothin' changing. I'm a butt when it comes to my property and people trying to tell me what I can and can't do with it, especially when it's legal. I'd need a clear statement from county and state along with changes to existing laws to make it illegal. Otherwise Imma keep on my business. If it's legal it's legal, ain't no cop able to tell me I can't do something legal.
