You all have the best videos. A huge thank you from small time alarm repair folks. I'll keep looking but do you have a video on panel replacement? I'm wondering if there is a faster way to get the codes transfered from old to new panel.

Thanks Captain! Appreciate it. Unfortunately the only way is through an authorized user of the Compass program. Resideo's remote programming software built for dealers.

My vista p battery leads are reading 13.05v max and battery is reading 12v when measured. However, I keep getting LOW BAT beeping fault. This is a new battery that stopped the fault for a few weeks, but the fault has now returned. Any idea what the issue could be? Are the battery leads outputting proper voltage? It’s not 13.5v or above, it’s 13.05v max…

Can you just show us how to troubleshoot the charging circuit on the logic board? And replace faulty component? The whole rest of the panel works fine just the charging circuit. Seems unnecessary to replace the whole thing when only a part is bad. I dont typically replace the car when the alternator goes, do you? Im assuming it can only be a relay or capacitor or something stupid. Right now I have it bypassed and I'm using a battery tender which is actually working quite well, but it would be nice to have the proper setup as intended by the manufacturer.

Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not offer board level troubleshooting or support like that, and therefore we don't either, so your best bet is to continue to use the work around you have configured or replace the board.

How about if exceeded panel Amperage? Will that give you a low battery?

Not typically, but you can get undetermined/unknown results when overdrawing auxiliary power capabilities.

Love your video. Message is Low Bat 25. Tried Power off twice, Replaced 12V battery, old and new battery both over 12V. Checked AC power at outlet, 124V, transformer 19.2 V, power at the board 17.6 volt. Confused because the board is supplying power to the battery and the battery is good but still have a low battery message. Please help

Low bat 25 sounds like a wireless sensor programmed into zone 25. Please make sure to replace with approved battery only per installation instructions the the sensor.

Hey Retro4Ever, That is correct, you will receive a low battery error with out a battery. You can acknowledge the error by pressing "*". This will silence the panel. It is recommended to replace with a 12v 7Ah battery as a replacement.
