Really good for drag or stuck in snow or mud For short amount of time, this will work as magic Not so in circuit condion when u run long extend of time
G 80 I believe is Gov lock and better drivabuility in Gov loc but not near traction or 1/10 as tough as a No spin. No spin last many hundred cord of wood getting still worked well
Hands down one of the best pieces of engineering ever made.
Whoever came up with this is a damn genius. So simple, yet so effective.
Have one in my 96 Toyota T100 up here in Alaska. Absolutely love it. Have an e-locker up front.

This kind of differential I'm curious because when I jack up the side wheel and turn the wheel, the differential is noisy..
.
The no spin is known for its noise. It’s built to take it.
1:56 Now get a muncie rock-crusher trans + you'll be in business
I'd like one of these for my 2011 G1 Nissan Leaf please :)
So basically disengage the fast wheel?
Because of the taper machined into the dog teeth, yes.
Does anyone have the no-spin L-145 and L-147 for trucks?
Alguém tem o no-spin L-145 e L-147 para caminhão?
Yeah, I still don't know how it disengages the fast side.
To me, it seems like a ratchet. When spinning at the same speed, it's locked, but when it spins faster, it ratchets over.
How long do the teeth last ??
Depend on abuse 60 years out of 66 Chevy. Ho72
Forever
