I put down a layer of blue painters tape first then use spray adhesive on the pattern to put on top of the blue tape. The blue tape comes off super easy.

I used that exact same spray on adhesive and it comes off real easy if you use a heat gun. A hair dryer will probably work too. Just hold it over an edge and then slowly peel and then continue heating and peeling. Awesome sign and great video! 👍🏼

Awesome job! We are also proud how you gave credit Ms "Jess". Many of our fellow TH-camrs refer to helpers as "The Wife" or not giving them any credit at all! Thank you for providing the link to the supplies you used. Not sure why but I have not been able to locate the batter powered LED strip. Now we need to buy them and think of a way to use them. If I may be so bold to offer a suggestion that might help. Being in the IT field I know it can be a pain to get the right font size to print your designs. You may want to consider using a miniature projector. You can create any design and project it on the surface and quickly trace the image. Ne messing with fonts, no wasting paper printing, no worries about removing paper and glue. (obviously there are drawbacks to this method as well but it helps when you dont have a CNC). We are seriously looking forward to watching more of your videos.

Looks great Zac! You can truly call that handcrafted! Just something about it that adds a bit of richness to it! And those lights looked super easy to use as well.... I'm always wanted to try some on a project and didn't know you could just cut them wherever you wanted. I thought you'd have a solder or ty the ends somehow. Very cool!

To get the stencil off easier you can use a heat gun on it for a sec to loosen the adhesive. Peels right off 👍

How do you hide the wire?
You made me laugh per this comment. 1:26 how many hours of light will the battery pack give you? I guess a wall plug would be ugly per the wire. Is that why you went with the battery?

I'm just curious to know with those battery powered LED, how long does the lights last though if switched on continuously ?🤔
They’re LED they should last a good amount of time if kept on. I’m sure like everything else they have a lifespan where they slowly breakdown. You can always replace them with some new ones, they’re relatively cheap
Did you use MDF for the sign.
Yes I did, I use MDF for all of my interior signs. Exterior I use corafoam
