What do you think about Cloud Custodian? Does it fit your use-case? What are your thoughts?
The quality on your content is simple brilliant. Keep it up man!!
I think this tool is great for sandbox accounts. We provide sandbox AWS accounts for developers teams where they can experiment freely. I think this may be a very valueable tool to keep those account lean and delete stale resources
"Wild West organisation" is my new phrase! But I agree on your points! I see some points but then also many points to not use it!
Good video Viktor! In our case we rely on custodian for an account we use as playground/sandbox
Very impressive explanation. Thanks for the insights
Great session. One question, can I run a policy from a Python code directly?
I don't see why not. In the worst case scenario, you can always run a CLI command from python.
Do you know of a way to generate report for resources (multiple resources EC2, s3, etc) that are missing required labels?
Yes. You can retrieve all resources that are missing all or specific labels.
Some similarities to AWS config
Indeed
Why not ask chatgpt to write that shit
In my case, it's Copilot 🙂
