This kind of works for me. The only issue is that when i load the map up with my saved cars it spawns a new one (The one that always spawns when opening a new map). All of my cars / props also get randomly rotated for some reason. An example would be if I where to save a car standing perfectly in a parking spot. It would be slanted or just completely sideways when I reload the map.

Really nice video! Thanks! Some tips to work on version 0.33: I think you need to create a folder with the same name of the map on BeamNG_User\levels. Doing this, you can save any modification you make on the World Editor; Then, you always need to spawn a new copy of the car you want to save, to create the "clone" object.
I didn't create the folder in the levels directory, but it still working. i was thinking about create another level with the same map and save the cars there, leaving the original map without modification, i will test it today
I have done this a while back and due to an update (I think), my cars where not saved anymore so I watched this video again :) It is still great. Somehow one car just turned 180°, but that does not bother me.
Thanks! I wanted to make an edition of the east coast map (On ver 0.37) that had some story, the player owns a garage, I had everything set, just couldn’t spawn cars I wanted naturally. Until now.

For your case though, so you can know now, I can’t check everything 100% atm but once you get into the game, spawn the cars you want and park them wherever you want them, then in world edit, click on the car(s) you want to save, then go to the right side that says “inspection window” toward the top. You may have to open it, I don’t remember how to do that, but once I see it I’ll recognize it. Then from that menu on each car you click “can save” toward the bottom. After that, save your edits in the top left. The floppy disc icon if it hasn’t changed and if I’m correct. After that, any time you load the level up, those cars will spawn. I’m pretty sure this works for props too.
Guys I have additional advise. So dont use CTRL D because cars will not be on same spot after relaunching the game.(me has 0.32 version). Just Use World editor own transform tools to spot the car.
hold F1 and F11, and to swich pr3ss F1 and Esc. for a oppositt reaction. meaning you only need to press F11. \\ this is because the F buttons have two meanings each, and F1 reverse when hold, and F1 and Esc reverce all.

make sure you manipulate the car position and rotation with the editor gizmos, that is what's actually saved.

@ thanks but what is the floppy disc? Also I tried saving the game but when reloading into the game, the cars disappeared.
How to I then jump into any of those cars to drive them?
You should be able to TAB into them. Check your options for “allow tab to switch into traffic vehicles” or something like that.
