- Welcome to this free English class about describing things you like. It is very handy to be able to describe things you like in English, so in this English lesson I'll help you learn how to do just that.
Have you learned how to describe a trip in English? Do you know how to describe a book in English? Do you know how to describe a movie, TV show, or cartoon? Have you learned how to describe a sports game?
In this free English class I'll help you learn words and phrases like: a catchy tune, to read it in one sitting, a real page turner, a tear-jerker, action-packed, a good beat, I couldn't put it down, a nail-biter, and more!
I hope you enjoy this English lesson on how to describe things you like!

Thanks for providing good subject like always. 😍 Teacher Bob, Would you please give us a lesson about describing pain and illness. I saw myself when I want to describe my feeling to doctor I could not explain how the pain is. Like for headache, I could not say how the pain is in my head. Sometimes it is not a pain . it is like sth else that hurts us.

Hi, great lesson sir😄 l always have a trouble when l use the word "groove". Does it mean kinda feel happy, hyper, wanna dance or something like that, doesn't it? Could you give me a couple of example sentences that are using this word, please? 🙏
Groovy is an older word used to describe something cool. I don't use it much. :)

Hi Bob, I have two questions to ask you. Firstly, can I use I read it in one sitting negatively? E.g. describes a boring book, and the plots are simple, so I finished it so fast. Secondly, can I use it's a tear-jerker to talk about a book? Thank you in advance
