I found this band late. I am very interested in references to what appears to be in it's initial stage so "Brave New World" is the 1st I heard from them. This video with the song is really well put together. It seems a lot of interpretation can be extracted. Starts in a building that seems in ruin, perhaps symbol for her order and role in society is broken down and the snow maybe a cold heart from the experiences in life. I see dude as a representation of her shadow. It seems so in line with the lyrics. Shadow the provocation for her motivation to keep on. I say this because at the end after she kills him, she realizes how lonely and without purpose she finds herself. Not having a reason to run on. Instead of taking his life force for herself and use it for self discovery in which she would find true purpose and therefore no long find such a role of running away from her shadow, instead she gives it back so that she can carry on her role of running away and always only victim of her own shadow. I really like this trope I have been noticing lately. Not that they emerged suddenly but that I notice it now. FOALS -The Runner, Night Club - Dear Enemy and Chealou - Out of Sight for examples.
