    I bought Revlon Radiance light build-in hair dryer at 15 dollars. After using for 10 years every other day.... the dryer finally went on retirement. I'm impressed how a cheap thing could last that long.

    I've literally had the same Conair blow dryer for 15 years and I use it every day. Lol. Mine has lasted forever for some reason.

    I used for 7 years in a row, almost every single day my mom's hair dryer bought in the 1980's.. Worked fine to me until I dropped it so many times that It broke and even broken it still worked! but it kept falling apart lol, the brand is Oster, it never burned my hair UNLIKE the cheap Revlon hairdryer I replaced it with, which I will change soon since it has literally burned my hair twice in less than a year use.

    Its funny cuz so many hair stylists and barbers use pro 150$ ones or 100 dollar ones. You get what you pay for but their is a point where price doesn't meet performance. Like every barber I've been to and salon uses around that 150 dollar range. And they use it multiple times a day.

      Yes no need to spend over that amount.

      I agree. When you use a blowdryer multiple times a day the professional ones are the way to go. Therefore they cost more. But if it's what you do for a living it's a must. Sure people say they've had there 15.00 one for 10 years and it doesn't matter but try to use that thing 6 days a week on 6 plus times a day. That's a different story.

    I have had a Conair for years and years and it never broke so I don't agree with you saying you will have to replace it every year. Not so.

      I've also used cheap blow dryers and they've lasted for years. I've also used them on my dogs hair and they've withstood really well.

      I have had a Braun Silencio 1600 since 1996, 22 years old and it works lovely, my late mum's Clairol 1200 still works 29 years later and my late nan's pink Pifco Princess still works 48 years later.

    Kind of surprised that T3 is missing from these picks... Is T3 over hyped/ over marketed? 😊

    • @beautysnoop
      @beautysnoop  8 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      I do like T3, BUT for the cost of over $200- the lifespan isn't as good as I think it should be. Many people (including myself) have complained that two years is the average lifespan of one of a T3 dryer... And my criteria is at least 5 years for anything costing over $100. Hope that helps answer it! Xo

      Julie Pinney I've had 3 T3'S, they all blew up within 18 months of owning them. They got hot and literally blew up. I'm done with them. Way overhyped. I've had many professional blow dryers. T3, Dry Bar Buttercup, Chi touch 2, Paul Mitchell, and I can say the best ever is the Elchim 3900. It's made in Italy and has a lifetime warranty. It makes my hair silky and smooth.
