I agree 100%, though it seemed to take forever to press the air fingers out. I ended up taking my wife’s hair dryer and it sped up the process considerably. So spray with soapy water, position, press out as much air as you can without heat, then use the hair dryer and continue to press out bubbles. Worked like a charm.
Just installed it today. Very easy but don’t use the supplied rubber piece as it scratched my tint. Glad I did it on the Xtra piece they give you. Just use your fingers. Used your code so thanks. I bought my wife the new 2018 Durango RT. It’s so sick. It’s her Xmas present. Can’t wait to surprise her.
Couldn’t wait to xmass. Gave it to her last night. Let’s face it it was for me too. She loves it. My next car is a Daytona. Question on tires for her Durango. Stock is 8 inch rims right? What’s the widest I can go and what brand do you like for a good price. All weather type tires.
Just installed mine on my 2017rt Durango and I used your promo code👍 Thanks man! Keep the videos coming. Definitely an easy install. Makes it look real clean!
Wow that means a lot brother I appreciate the kind words and all your support with Luxe and Hemifam!! Feel free to use code LUXEAUTO to save 15% off our site and Hemifam merch as a thank you! www.hemifam.com
how long does this take ,I just asked Tint World here in San Diego they said it would be 2hrs and $65 ? WTF ? Do you recommend anyone here in San Diego that can do better?
@@justabrokeredneck Wouldn't this be much simpler if it was soapy water?..Or will it not allow the tint to set right? Just seems much easier if you would use the soapy water.
Hey HEMIFAM! Good video and tutorial on the LUXE tint! I purchased this tint for my Durango and LOVE IT! Best of all! I save with your promo code. Keep doing what your doing by putting up good content! SUBSCRIBE and THUMB UP!
If you mean the whole tail light assembly, most likely not unless you’re highly skilled in custom mods and fabrication. For the tint I wouldn’t go for this I’d go for a universal type.
I get that everyone runs their own deal but I just don’t understand why anyone wants to make their lights darker. Brighter yes. I would like mine bright as the sun. Darker? If that were the case I would be spending money to upgrade to brighter lights. To each his own I guess.
Just installed mine. I found it much easier to do with a wet application. Spray the light and the film it goes on much more easy than the dry way.
that's way easier. less wrinkles,
What application did you use?

Did you use dark smoke or mid smoke?
@@Jordanfiend361 I used the mid smoke. definitely dark still though, but not black out.
How does this affect the back up lights? Are they darker? Or still enough light to back up?
Good video|tutorial. Thanks for the promo code. Ordered a set for our 2014 Durango and 2015 Dart.
Thank you sir you are going to love them, can't thank you enough for all your support!
I just got my kit want to put it on but it’s cold outside will it be alright to apply in the cold
Excellent video thanks bud!
What about after removing the tint? Adhesive still sticks?
@hemifam was this the mid shade or the dark shade?
Stunning.
what style did you use on the durango light medium or dark?
Luxe only has one style
@@Wayne_The_Great they forsure offer a light, mid, and dark option for the 3rd gen durango on their site.
What did you clean the light with? Alcohol?
And should I use the clay bar
@@rezzo_6fn659 Glass cleaner will do
Thanks for the video, just bought this kit for the 18' RT.
Good video, worked great on mine

You can try G Spot Auto Works in Oceanside you can look them up on Facebook and Instagram.
Where can I find it at ?
For some reason I can't get those corner edges folded right
Send us a DM on Instagram @hemifam when you have a chance.
HemiFam, did you wet the back of the tint?
Jay Jackson no. It’s dry install

Looks good!
Do you make this for a 2012?
I just installed mine. The Luxe directions specifically state (underlined and in caps): “YOU MUST HEAT THE VINYL TO ENSURE LONG-TERM ADHESION.”
mopar or no car
That's right! 😎
Hell yea brother
Doesn’t work! The center part of the tint keeps wanting to crease when I try to apply the tint on the fender.
Jay Jackson pretty sure that’s a user error.
Can I install this at 40°f
I would recommend temps around 70ish or so to be safe. 🙂
Hemifam thx for the reply
If you use a heat gun you can prolly heat the lens and film lightly
I did it around 50 but I wouldn’t recommend it. I used a heat gun on low and still ran into a few minor problems.
Took mine off asap it looks so cheap up close and to be on a 86k vehicle.

Oh man thats awesome thanks for your support brotha! ✊🏼
i have the durango 2013 it is possible to put the tail light led 2014 or 2015 on my let me know tanks
For that application you should be able to use the universal tint film wrap.

SUBSCRIBED BWCAUSE I WAMT TO INSTALL AND/OR UPGRADE MY 'RANGO!!!
