@@RM-el3gw One of the few bands where EVERY member was a fantastic musical talent. I like both the spinoff bands the ex-members formed, but their peaks have never been as high as songs like this.
This is definitely my favorite of theirs. Simultaneously dense and sparse, as with all of their songs. Amazing how much warmth each song exudes while also feeling lonely and isolated. Miss them every day. RIP Chris Reimer.
This song made me pick up my long lost bass to play again. Thank you. Most days I don't want to be alive. This song is on my playlist of songs that have saved me.
Wow, I mean I was impressed when I first saw this but now I've tried learning it myself...this is an extremely hard song imo. Wish me luck with learning it haha
@@Racks47 I tried to take it on last night I have been playing for a little over 2 years and am at the two minute mark it's not as difficult as it seems but damn there are some challenging parts
Compared to other instruments, it's one of the easiest to start learning and there's endless support to help you get better without personal instruction
Can you explain the time feel of the phrasing at the end of the song? Keep trying to count it out, are they like a few bars of different amounts of beats?
there’s at least 12 awesome riffs in this song
I swear, so much talent in that band. Too bad they broke up, but what they produced remains

What's really insane is that they played this song _faster_ when they performed live. It's a real shame they never got as big as they deserved.
Cindy Lee! The guitarist of this song just got the highest pitchfork rating in 4 years.
You still don't get enough credit for this.
