Yes CERTAIN aspects will be burned into your memory but u won’t remember every detail. For example, during robberies there have been times multiple victims have given separate accounts of the same situation even though all were there. Major details lined up but specifics were different like the height of the perpetrator or which hand they held the weapon in. I have been robbed before and as time goes on details of the incident have started to fade but I’ll never forget how I felt in that moment.

Why does it matter *why* he started shooting?
He shot her. The reason doesn’t matter. If there was an argument, that doesn’t give you an excuse to shoot somebody. If someone said something you don’t like, that doesn’t give you an excuse to shoot somebody.
She doesn’t have to prove why she was shot. She just has to prove that she was shot by him. And she has more evidence that he did shoot her than he has that he didn’t shoot her.

A video or even audio record of the shooting), they'll have to convince a jury that he shot her with CIRCUMSTANTIAL evidence. Circumstantial evidence relies on essentially looking at the circumstances and context to provide for an extreme likelihood the act occurred. That's why motive is typically so important to prosecutors. If you're trying to convince a jury of what happened, happened, they understand ppl don't typically do things for no reason. You have to provide a motive to link the circumstances. For example, If we found out tory and Meg were arguing about whether Tory had the audacity to shoot her, right before she got shot, that'd be damming circumstantial evidence. Then you wouldn't say "why they were arguing doesn't matter." youd (rightly) conclude he had a motive. If meg and her friend were fighting over tory and then Meg gets shot, the jury is going to want to know why Tory wanted to shoot Megan. What was his motive? It seems like someone else would have a greater motive to do so. Soo, that piece of the puzzle will need to be filled in to help prove his guilt. All. the. pieces. matter.

You could see her holding her breath, trying to stop the tears and collect her voice, knowing everyone would judge her for showing weakness.
