  • Taylor Adams played a pivotal role in regaining momentum for the Sydney Swans during the second quarter of their Round 13 match against Geelong.
As a midfielder, it's essential to fulfill your role during stoppages. At times, you're the focal player; at others, you must adopt an unselfish role for the team.
Adams embraced this unselfish role when needed, significantly altering the game's momentum.

I was at the game on Sunday. Therefore I could only see what was happening when the ball was in proximity of where I was sitting. It was only the next day when I watched the four quarter highlights on my phone did I appreciate Brody Grundy's role as ruck in the boundary throw-ins.
Yes Taylor Adams was also instrumental, but Grundy's accurate taps to his teammates within kicking distance for goal were absolutely superb.
I can think of at least 4 goals that the Swans kicked were on Grundy's ruck work.
    Well done Swans.
