16:25 - *Daniel* (not "David") Lee Young was a paranoid schizophrenic and convicted burglar, who had delusions of being owed billions of dollars for songs he believed he'd written for Madonna, Prince, and other big stars.
He was convicted of 1 count of first degree murder for the pedestrian he killed, and 48 counts of attempted murder for the victims who survived, despite life-altering injuries, including amputations and paralysis.
His insanity defence was rejected by the jury, though he was under a psychiatrist's care, because his crime was so abhorrent that he had to be found guilty. He was sentenced to 106 years & 4 months to life.
