Amazing shooting and an amazing scope being paired with the Orion cam you can see how the rounds fly off in odd directions after passing through the Iguanas. 5:45 I was expecting the round to keep going straight and hit the fence but it took a hard right turn, crazy...
@@AirgunEvolution I know!! It will bounce off the head and go crazy in any direction, that's why low power and high accuracy is key for this kind of shooting. Keep posting buddy, your videos give me energy to do mine.... Or should we work on OURS next?
The most interesting shot was at 5:50 where the pellet goes through the iguanas head, makes a right, and hits the house. What's cool is that the pellet only nicked off a little paint! It had dumped so much of its energy in the lizard that that was barely any left. Perfectly matched power for this hunt. What gun are you using and what pellet at what FPE? PS: I'll be in Florida for a day next March and I'll be trying to work out enough time to hunt some iguanas with you!
Erlis, those are great images through that scope. I've always liked Arken scopes. Fun watching you out after lizards. I am finally feeling good, and the temperatures have dropped, so I am getting out this week. And yes, your scopecam mount is topnotch, mine is on my FX Maverick Compact .22 along with a Firefly 8se 4K camera ready to roll.
Hi buddy! I was attracted to it initially for the weight, but when I started filming with it I was really surprised with the results... I'm very happy overall!
Joe is awesome! I remember he reached out when I posted like my 3rd video and talked to me like an hour giving me advice on how to improve the videos, I'll never forget that...
Well the proof is in the image and I can CLEARLY see it is performing like a champ. Very nice dino elimination footage my man. Awesome information and entertainment!
Nice scope and not a bad price especially for FFP. I bought a Riton 6-24X50 for my LCS and the gun never needs zeroed even after extreme temperature changes or being bounced around. It was around 200 bucks 4 years ago or so. Congrats on the new optics.
@@OriOnTheIguanaHunter I try to do my part with the iguanas here west of West Palm Beach. I just started with PCP, I had a break barrel before.. I'm working on getting better.
Great shooting dude!! I've been looking into this exact scope and now I'm convinced! I currently have an Arkem SH4 gen2 which I like but the parallax is 25yds and I prefer 10yd plus the EPL is lighter!
I had to cut a part of this video during editing where I asked if you'd be interested in seeing that test in a future video. The final segment was getting a bit too long, so I left it out. However, I am planning to do a follow-up-the long-range version-where I'll compare scopes like the Arken, Valdada, Toric, and Nightforce ATACR to see which one truly stands out. Spoiler: the ATACR is incredible!
@@duroboat69 they are very similar, the Arken weights 23.7oz vs 26 oz the Helix, not a huge difference but if you are squishing ever oz then the Arken is the way to go. I've seen videos from the Helix and the clarity is outstanding too
@@jeffojibway9284 the weight and the min parallax is what made me use the Arken over the Tract. Forgot to mention parallax adjustment on my video, arken alis about 12 yards min parallax, Tract is 25, and I do have a lot of close encounters
Awesome job my man, I have a scope cam question . I made one for my scope using one that I had purchased for my phone. The issue I have is that it works great indoors and ok in low light, but on a nice sunny day the image gets completely washed out. Tried to add tint to my camera but it didn't help. My camera has a 70° narrow field of view, I tried on two different scopes both FFP one is a CV life Bear power and the other HiRAM ???, glass is good for these budget scopes. Any suggestions? Thank you for your videos , I have a lot of time vested in trying to make this work, so any help would be appreciated.
@@RedCornOutdoors the firefly 8se with 90 degree lens is great because you don't have to change anything on it. It will work out of the box, other cams will require changing the lens

I don't think there will be a FFP scope with all the features this scope has for under 200, sure there will be sub 200 scopes out there but it won't be close to this.
