upayas have no logic if one does not believe in it. In BPHS Sage Parasara gives remedies of Vishnu Sahasranam many times throughout his great book. A westerner can say how can reciting mantras help a planet, we can give logic for it but they would feel it is illogical

I often think that all that i am doing is a waste with this astrological community and the sacrifices i make unlike others is going down the drain, but having a viewer like u makes me feel so so proud and happy. Saptarishis Astrology I know sir! I can understand. I've been through the same thing in recent years. No work no money. Then i started to learn astrology. And even if it didn't help me to find my karmic path but i never stopped believing in astrology because i know that this is the science where you can find all the answers. I haven't been lucky in reading my horoscope and understanding it. I am lucky in reading others horoscope and can say because of Rahu in the second house with moon. But the main point of our birth is to face our karmas. I think many people and astrologers have forgotten this. That's why people are so against them. Dear Sunil, I have immense respect for you and I follow your videos and website. But I am writing this comment in extreme pain and anguish. The point is any upaya in vedic astrology takes lots of time and nothing can be improved (forget changing) without devotion and surrender to the almighty which involves meditation and prayers. the upaya which u suggested in this video only brings confusion to one's mind. How can coconuts help improve Rahus problem? (personally, I don't think Rahi creates problem, it just asks us to change and do things which we are supposed to do and when it does, we think that's a problem.) If improving malefic effect was as simple as flowing coconut in water, no one would be suffering from Rahu issues. additionally, if such an upaya is suggested, it should be backer by logic and explanation (vedic astrology is all about logic). The purpose of Vedas and astrology is deep and call for deeper analysis by individuals (more particularly under the impact of nodes). while explaining everything on you tube is great idea but its not what Vedas aim for. one should deep dive in it to understand. In India, people have little faith in vedic system and astrology, and if responsible persons like you do such videos, people will treat vedic system as totkas and not take its real meaning. I have lost faith in Kapiels videos now because its more of a drama than authentic knowledge. I hope you understand and appreciate this view point.
Dear Rishi, totkes have been prevalent since hundreds of years as the common man cannot do vedic rituals easily and by themselves. If one travels to traditional pandits they prescribe mainly totkes. Even a mother knows several totkes to remove evil eye of her children or husband. This has continued since hundreds of years. Also breaking of coconuts in temples and opening ceremony of business is very important and we all do it since hundreds of years. Coconut absorbs lots of negative energy and that is broken or flown away. At the end of the day i have always said no remedy is needed, one just needs to accept life. But when a man is in pain due to a disease or a problem and he does not have the strong mind even yogis prescribe such totkes, who are we to comment on it. We in our small minds do not understand the logic behind rituals, they do as they know how to play with nature for the benefit of the one suffering. One can read Swami Vimalanandas works and how he lost his son - that story shows what a yogi can do with totkes and when not followed what can be the result
dear Sunil, with great respect, I still differ. India has been a land of superstitions and senseless rituals/totkas, which doesn't reflect the true intent of Vedas. you will recall, Shankaracharya fought against these rituals which had corrupted the Hindu vedic system. I am not sure what authority you are quoting but am sure neither Vedas nor sages like Parashara (will be happy to know any totka suggested by him) talked about any totakas. I am appalled by your the title of the video which suggests best remedy for rahu to be done today. How come these totakas be best or even remedy for complex astrological bodies like nodes? these totkas (as per my little knowledge) have been used by astrologers to put fear in minds of people and its high time, these things should be discarder and people should be encouraged to engage in meaningful remedies (rather than quick fix types totkas). Astrology is not fast food. It has a deep purpose to improve way of life, its not quick fix solution to the problems of life. Parvati didn't do any totka to get Shiva, she did tapsya for years and that why on namah shivay jaap with devotion and dedication brings relief (doesn't fix any problem). Ram didn't do any totka to cross sea to reach Lanka (he worshipped and prayed the sea god). You are a responsible astrologer. We expect better from you. wish you all the best.
so true. vedic astrology is wonderful thing but requires patience and right direction. Unfortunately, it has become source of quick fixing every event of life just like noodles. Thats a sad state of affair. The knowledge is to be gained by reading good books and experience in a hard way, it can't be read and understood by you tube videos. Astrologers should be careful otherwise we will lose wonderful gift given by great sages like Parashara.

About performing parihara at Kalahasti, there are some dos and don'ts. One can visit other temples prior to performing Rahu remedies at Kalahasti but after the rituals at Kalahasti, one has to return back to home. This in a way denotes sincerity about the remedies that it cannot to undertaken as a part of a pleasure trip.
